According to Forbes.com, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt ranks as the most influential infant. The article says that they came to this conclusion by looking “at both Web presence and press clippings for more than 50 A-list offspring (5 years old and younger) over the course of a year. Then, with a whittled-down list, we reached out to Encino, Calif.-based polling firm E-Poll Market Research for both awareness data for the kids and consumer-appeal rankings for their celebrity parents.”
They said that Shiloh grabbed first place by being high-profile herself, what with the wait for her arrival, and because Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are her high-profile parents, and that she showed up in over 2000 articles in one year.
For informational purposes, Suri Cruise came in second (I expected as much), but Zahara Jolie-Pitt grabbed third place, and Pax Jolie-Pitt – who has been with the family for less than a year but was also eagerly anticipated all across the internet – came in fifth (Sean Preston Federline came in fourth, likely ranking high because people want to know what Britney is doing to endanger her poor children’s lives). Maddox Jolie-Pitt likely would have been in the top ten too but was too old for this particular study at the age of six years.
I agree completely with a comment made in the article by Danielle Friedland of celebrity-babies.com. She said that the reason so many people are fascinated with these young kids is because while we can’t relate on a personal level to the lives of celebrities and all their luxuries, we can often identify with the parenting side.

I think we are all Fans or at least respect Angie and Brad for their work. I fully agree with Mayka. I think Angie loves her children equaly. All words from interviews can be twisted and twisted so long untill you get out of them what you want, no one knows what she is thinking. But if you look on pictures of Angie the kids you see that she loves all of them. Thats what matters and not the words she said in an old interview.

Anyway they’ve got a Where’s Shiloh counter at the top, counting the days, hours, minutes and seconds since they last saw her. Jeez, FREAKS!! Man I can’t get over how obsessed it makes them look. i really doubt this article is true -it’s from a british tabloid-unless you read the tabloids i guess you would believe it-shiloh has two parents and they owe no one on this board or any where else an explanation on how they raise their children or how they feel about them-there is NOTHING anyone can do to angie or brad about their children-enjoy the family like we all do,but remember none of us are related to this family-peace
maryj, try not to be too disappointed. just read what mayka wrote up there. she makes a whole lot of sense. angelina did not say she doesn’t love shilo any less. i think if you really have to read into this so-called interview, angelina’s trying to relay that her love for all of them is equal. i think she’s just aware of what could have happened to the older children had she and brad not taken them in, after all, she has seen the dire conditions in their motherlands. so, there’s a whole lot of sympathy there, but at the same time, just because her other children are more vulnerable, it doesn’t mean her love for shiloh is reduced. i think that’s what mayaka’s trying to explain. each child has a different need and a different background, so, in a way, angelina almost has to mold herself into each one of her children’s situations and at the same time, be sure that each child gets her equal love and attention. it’s all about trying to find a balance. my friend has two children, a boy and a girl, and in some ways she does treat them differently, but she loves them both equally. i think in all, angie’s doing a fine job as a mother. besides, none of us are privy to their lives. we only hear and read things, but we’re not even close to being a fly on their wall. anyway, people shouldn’t just jump into every story you hear out there. how many magazines have claimed to have interviewed angie? and again, like i said, at the end of the day, it is the editor and writer who have the power to manipulate the words that we read, hence, shaping what we believe in.

Totally agree with you, Bee. I just feel bad that Sherry has had to explain herself to a stranger on the Internet, one who made a quick judgment and turned it too personal. This site has been rather fair considering the snarky anti-AJ/BP remarks that have been posted here.

Anyone who is a fan should take the time to do some research. You’ll find that these comments were not made to this magzine, rather it was a cut and paste job to sell more mags and make money. Which by the way is exactly what is being pointed out by the FORBES list.
Does anyone really believe the latest TAB headline “Where is SHILOH?” Do we really believe that she is in a dungeon somewhere banished because she is somehow not “felt” for enough? Do we really believe that the previous bruhaha about Zee was because the media cared one iota about her true origins? And how do you explain Pax? Headline grabbers much!?
Thank you Sherry for your kind insight to the meaning of the phrase “feel for”. Fans and Sherry, ignore the pseudo intellectuals who pretend that there is some objective rationale behind their critique……their intent is obvious.
BTW, I ENJOY and get a HUGE kick out of seeing this family, but I fear this obsession with little children. I wish the fans here and of course the JP family a wonderful holiday season. Peace.
I did a little more digging, and the British magazine that’s claiming to have scored the supposed interview is called Look magazine, the same magazine that claimed (more like fabricated) to have interviewed JA, in which JA supposedly revealed that Brad had taken Shiloh to meet her. There you go. Even JA was targeted by that tab. And of course, tabs have to stick together. The Daily Mail even picked it up. Again, please be careful and wise about what we read.
Since the topic du jour is about the youngest Jolie-Pitt children, I thought I’d share this again: remember ALL the children are loved and WANTED. Love is like being a “little bit pregnant!” Either you are loved or you are not….there is no “less or more than!” JMHO.

I hope this couple and their children are not #1 in everything every year. It’s getting boring when you already know the outcome.
I was sad to see so much attention being paid to the children of celebrities. No wonder the parents are so worried about them. If people are that focused on their children it brings up the issue of how vulnerable they are and how important it is to keep them safe. I think we should adopt laws that protect children from this type of scrutiny. I believe Brad Pitt mentioned that in a recent interview.
As for Angie’s comment…. well the controversy here is exactly what the media wants everyone to do…react. I think that is the purpose of these articles keep everyone stirred up and buying magazines. Sherry nailed it when she explained what she believed what Angie meant. Most of us would pay more attention to a special needs child for whatever reason rather then the one that doesn’t need us so much. Good for her (Angie) for realizing that and paying attention to make sure she doesn’t exclude Shiloh.
Okay, I think this obsession with the kids is a little bit weird, but such is life.
Everyone has personal issues that relate back to how they were raised. Angelina has said that she does not really trust anyone, even if her own mum would have done something to betray her.
We could say: 1. they should not have got together because their lives will always be in the spotlight 2. she has a reputation as a man-stealer but now appears to have fallen totally and deeply in love with her soulmate 3. she will love those kids no matter what, to the best of her abilities, as we all do with our own.
I am not an Angie fan. I respect her humanitarian efforts, but she is just another person, like everyone else.
The gossip rags are just that and appear to be able to move copies due to enquriing minds!
Her and Brad should just live their lives regardless, say very little about their family and maybe, one day, the world will be more focused on more important matters!
neela, i remember when that tabloid story came out, and JA’s publicist came out with a denial that she had never given an interview to that magazine. why then can’t people figure out that if they lied once regarding this supposed “triangle” that the tabs insist on perpetuating, that they could lie again.
and again, i ask the question, can you really see angie using the expression “outcast” to describe anyone much less her daughter, who she carried for nine months, and has said at the time of her birth, she just wanted to hear her cry.
the problem a lot of the people who choose to believe this story are having is that they cannot understand how angie can love all of her children EQUALLY, because they could not love an adopted child as much as a biological child. but there are people who are capable of doing this, as we saw when larry king interviewed brad and quoted this man who said he had four children, two are adopted, he forgot which two.
you know i fully believe that GOOD always wins over EVIL, and make no mistake what these tabloids are doing to this not perfect, but wonderful young woman, is an evil act. all of this hatred stems from the fact that brad divorced hsi wife for reasons none of us know, and chose to move on with his life with angie. i am sure he wishes JA the same for her life. it is more than time enough that all the naysayers do the same, and leave us fans of this couple to enjoy them and their work as we choose to. as brad recently stated, he thought all this would have ended a year ago.

This recent interview is a total fake. I know because i live here in England where this fake ass story originated from. It’s from look magazine and i read the whole thing in the supermarket for a laugh. This mag is a complete joke over here. The last angie story they had was that she and brad had split and angie went to the Australian premiere of A mighty heart during their trial seperation LOL. Those are the type of stories you get in look mag. They cannot even get an interview with c-list brit celebs let alone an interview with angelina. They have been torn into by so many celeb ’s reps for their made up stories. Angelina never ever said shiloh is an outcast and the feel for more comment is from elle last year. It’a a shame that even fans will believe something negative without checking the facts. Believe me this interview is the biggest load of rubbish i have ever read. National Enquirer is more reliable than this mag and that’s saying something.
I now expect personal attacks on Sherry more often – not all the time, just enough to keep us riled up. That’s the trolls’ main goal, isn’t it? To divert our focus from the JPs? & to get caught up in their negativity?
They know we’re going to defend Sherry, so they’ll stir up the pot every once in a while, like the evil goblins they are.

Shalom y paz, Pittwatchers! Time flies during the holidays, and it’s already the end of week 2 of the Make It Right/Pink Project. Today I read that $3.5 million of the $5 million to match Brad’s $5 million donation has been raised (http://www.thetowntalk.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20071214/NEWS01/71214011). Awesome! That’s excellent news! That $3.5 million includes OUR donations – yay!
The 1st week, 14 of us gave $2425 (!!!) + 5 gave unspecified amounts + 3 made pledges. Doesn’t it feel good? This 2nd week, Akishdebaba & Heather added $65 to our total = $2490 ($10 more dollars and we will have donated the equivalent of a roof solar panel to help cut 75% off energy bills for a lifetime). Actually, I’m sure we’re over $2500 because Ranch donated an unspecified amount. Thank you everyone – gracias, merci, salamat. Angelina & Brad & Maddox/Pax/Zahara/Shiloh would be so proud of us. The 10 houses paid for grew to 27! Celebrities who gave whole houses: Jimmy Buffett, Donna Karan, and the band Widespread Panic.

Thanks that’s the clearest interpretation of what she originally said. IT is a very positive thing she said which encompassed the range of emotions she felt for ALL her children.
There are people who want to believe the negative things, hence the pouncing “See she said that about her OWN daughter!! She’s not perfect.” It makes them feel better to point the finger at her, to try and destroy her.

I’m new to this site but have been a Brangelina supporter from the beginning. I, too, agree with many of the comments re: haters, negativity (towards either JA or AJ), tabloid liberties, etc. The only thing I can’t agree with are about the merits of the kiddie pics – on one hand, I agree that constant stalkerazzi photops exposes them to greater danger, but on the other hand, where would I get my Shiloh (and Z!) fix? Shiloh=Most Beautiful Celebubaby Ever!!!! (and no, I’m not a hater for other celebubabies since I do think that Suri is a cutie, too, but there is something about Shi that renders me awed!
