Shonda Rhimes spoke to Entertainment Weekly and surprisingly let out a few spoilers – one of them REALLY major – for the upcoming episodes. I’ve listed them after the jump!
- Shonda Rhimes states that she wants to get Meredith and Derek “together for good and let them try to figure out what it is to be in a relationship in the future.” !!!
- Nurse Rose is returning for five episodes – so she’s not out of the picture quite yet
- Jane Doe will be back for three episodes.
And that’s what we got as far as spoilers. Additionally, Shonda Rhimes revealed that the writer’s strike actually gave her “perspective” on the whole McDreamy/Meredith thing and it occurred to her that watching them be together would be something “amazing” to watch. Isn’t that what we’ve been telling her? Hehe. Yay Shonda!
This should make the MerDer brigade ecstatic.

yes mer will be pregnant..isnt it obvious? the last scene with her and bailey and bailey’s comment about how “everything is right with the world when looking at your child” why to mer? everything comes back around people. plus there was a recent interview where ellen pompeo was commented on not being as skinny..she said it was due to lack of stress that she seems healthier..yet it seems odd cause what about there other breaks? no noticeable weight gain..hence shes gaining weight to play the part of being pregnant. the end.ps YAY MERDER screw nurse rose

PLease consider bringing back Dr Burk to the show. WE know he did a mistake but no one is prefect. The show was so much fun with him and addison in it. IT is just missing the charactors. THink about it. The show is great with great writters but it will be prefect with those two in it.

Keep MerDer together. Bring back Addison for McSteamy and pleeeeeaase bring back Burke. Christina isn’t the same without him. Still love her but he completes the package. George and Izzy? puke……. they are gross together. Alex with Izzy. The Ava thing fizzled. Put George with Lexi or back with Callie.

Well, things are looking up. I just hope this is done logically and not a slap job that looks like it was crammed into five episodes. As far other pairings, I thought Gizzie was absolutely ridiculous. Right now, I think George needs some serious help before he is involved with any other woman.

Gizzie Rules! 2 things need to happen. Merder and Gizzie need to be together. If you dont like Gizzie, you are just STUPID! If Gizzie is not permanent, I will quit watching the show, PERIOD!

Mer/Der needs to get it together and Rose is the one to finally make Mer realize that Derek won’t wait for her forever. Gizzie is THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING EVER. It’ll never work. McSteamy needs to get with Hahn, George should be with Lexi, and Alex and Izzie have to much sexual tension between them for it not to work. Somebody please bring Burke back!!! He’s sorry, he was wrong, he did a PSA, for crying out loud, give the guy a break!!! The show is seriously missing something without him. Where is the real Christina?? Sarcastic, hilariously outspoken Christina. Find her and bring heer back ASAP!!
wel i think that shonda should break up gizzie and let them be just friend and put izzy with mark that should bring something interesting to watch and bring back adison i miss her
Mark with Izzie is just plain stupid. I have been watching the previous episodes over and over and it is very clear that Gizzie belong together. Any other scenario is just STUPID!

All I want from Shonda are good stories and fascinating medical cases as in season 1/2 . I want to love Grey’s again so please do away with stupid stories like Gizzie, Ava and Rose. Give us believable, mature stories with humour and great one-liners like the first 2 seasons. You have a great cast. Write them characters that they will be proud to play in. That is all I ask.
To do away with Gizzie is completely STUPID! What is so wrong with 2 people who love each other as much as Izzie and George do to make it work. Are you people so mad at the world that you dont want anyone to be happy? You know, there is such a thing as happily-ever-after. So get over your Gizzie hating and enjoy true love.
Mer and Der, Gizzie, Alex and Ava, Sloan and Hahn, Christina and Callie. Now that is what I call a great pairing up of characters!! I think though, if ever there was going to be a tempestuous and steamy relationship…it will be between Sloan and Hahn. Those two are a delight to watch together. Put them together Shonda!
So u all know Cristina will be preggars again in this season not meredith.
Basically, MerDer is the best thing since peanut butter. If it doesn’t happen, I would call it an EPIC FAIL. MerDer started this whole show for almost ALL viewers..to see it fizz and die and have Der run with Rose..it’s like Shonda killing her beautiful baby that she created..MerDer deserve each other after all the stuff they struggled through..i suppose its just a matter of time..and of course their relationship will be a struggle but it’ll be one which is what needs to happen..
as for Gizzie. Don’t see a future..yet. I think that timing was key and their timing was absolutely horrid. Let them find others..move on for awhile and then bring them back so maybe it will work..make them work for each other if thats what they really want! It cant be handed to them this easily!
I think that Alex realizes that Ava was a FB. (we all know what this is right???) I mean really he wanted her cause he was alone and just roaming like usual..but Alex realizes that Izzie is good…she is something to keep trying at..

We saw in “Crash into pt.2″ that Hahn has invited Callie and Sloan to a drink..progress on Hahn becoming a little more human?!? I think so! Really, deep down I believe in my heart that Hahn likes toying with Sloan but doesn’t show it because she’s not like the others..(that would be Humans..) so maybe?!? that’s all imma gonna say to that..just..maybe?

Shonda, I love the finale…..love especially Alex’s story and Izzie there for him. These two is what makes me keep coming back to Grey’s. Alex and izzie need to be together to make sense in their lives.
So happy Meredith has finally found some wisdom. Dont mind the lesbo story either. All in all, i am looking fwd to season 5. Please dont let us down.
