Shonda Rimes to Exec Produce 'Inside The Box'

Shonda Rhimes, creator of Grey’s Anatomy and Private Practice has a new project inthe works!

ABC has given the go ahead for her new show, Inside the Box. The new series, written by Richard E. Robbins, focuses on an ambitious female news producer working out of a Washington network news bureau.

Rhimes has delved into the world of TV journalism before. In 2006 she sold a pilot to ABC about a group of female correspondents, but she then set it aside to concentrate on Private Practice. She is set to be the executive producer of Inside the Box.
