Tamera played resident Kayla Thornton for two years on Lifetime's medical drama Strong Medicine. And she managed to get a guest role for Tia, who popped in for one episode as Keisha -- we're assuming Kayla's sister, who either stole her man or had some debilitating disease. Still, we'll count this one in Tamera's favor.
Still appearing together, but in a slightly different formula than their other movies, the twins play a teenage girl (Tia) and her grandmother (Tamera), who has used an age-reducing soap to return to her teenaged form. Their little brother Tahj Mowry also appeared as the boy genius who puts it all together.
The girls had a hilarious cameo in 2002's The Hot Chick, playing what Lindsay Lohan would later call "unfriendly black hotties" in Mean Girls. Poor half-black, half-Chinese Ling-Ling tries to gain their approval, despite her overbearing Asian mother.
The twins got roped into the Disney Channel Original Movie adaptation of Twitches, a YA series about -- you guessed it -- teen witches. The two movies were pretty forgettable, except for the cringeworthy ending to the first: "Go Twiches, go Twiches, it's our birthday, it's our birthday!" (Why?)
Tamera voiced a character named Esther for three episodes -- "Barely Legal," "Peter's Daughter," and "Mother Tucker" -- but we can't find a photo of the character.

The Mowrys' foray into Lifetime movies answers the age-old question of "Could you date twins without either girl realizing it?" The answer was yes, although the man in question fails to recognize that high-strung lawyer Deanna and flighty cook Danielle are different people.
Tia definitely went the sexier route of the two, playing Melanie Barnett first on UPN's Girlfriends, then moving over to the spin-off The Game, which aired on The CW til it got cancelled; then BET picked it up. The show recently got renewed for a fifth season.
Tia's expecting her first child with husband Cory Hardrict, while Tamera's preparing to go down the aisle with Adam Houseley. You'd almost think they planned it!
Tia & Tamera premieres on the Style Network tonight at 9 p.m. EST.
