- Veritas will take a closer look at Smallville’s ruling families and their secret society
- A flashback sequence will involve the young Alexander (guest star Connor Stanhope)
- Kara will teach Clark to fly, to have a better chance at defeating Brainiac
- Some of Clark’s loved ones will be caught in the crossfire between him and Brainiac
- Lionel tells Chloe to warn Clark of an ominous threat to his life
- Lex gets hold of a key with the Veritas symbol on it, and it will bring him closer to uncovering Clark’s secret
