What will season 7 of Smallville be like?
If Magazine interviewed Alfred Gough, the co-creator behind Smallville and we read some very interesting ‘previews’ to the next seasons. We know Michael Rosenbaum won’t be coming back beyond a 7th season, but Tom Welling is signed up until season 8, so does this mean Smallville will stay put for two more years?
GOUGH: We’ll officially find out about season 7 on May 17th [during the CW upfronts], but obviously we feel very confident we’ll be back. As for season 8, who knows? There are a lot of factors that will play into that decision, not the least of which is the quality of season 7, so that is what we are focusing on at the moment. If there is an 8th season, that would be the show’s last. Every hero may have a beginning, but every story has an end.
Phil Morris wished/speculated about a Justice League spin-off. What does Gough have to say about it?
GOUGH: I don’t believe you’ve seen the last of Ollie, or some of his friends. Who knows, when you see him again, he may have more!
iF: Will there be any other D.C. characters planned for the next season?
GOUGH: Absolutely, stay tuned for an announcement in the late summer.
So a JLA spin-off is looking more than just guess now. Make all the fans happy and put this through, please.
Now about all those people who ‘died’ in the last episode “Phantom“… We thought Lois did, but she resurrected. There are rumors that Annette O’Toole is the one to go, not die, but disappear into her new life as Senator. And Chloe? Lana?
GOUGH: The idea that Chloe had a power was always something in the back of our minds, but we didn’t want it to be a cheap trick, we wanted the audience to be invested in the character and her relationship with Clark, and if we were going to do it, it was to deepen the character, which we think it does, and will allow us to keep exploring Chloe in season 7. You’ll see her power first manifest in the season finale.
‘Explore Chloe’ – what exactly does that mean? We shall have to wait for a few months.

and for some people saying this is the last season i so hope its not this is my favorite show of all time right beside sliders and heros! I think they could stretch it out for a couple more years and even have a superboy to carry on the show =)
smallville should end with superboy being born (could u imagine it with chloe, the boy would have all of clarks powers and unlearned powers and also all of chloes powers too) Super Super Boy!
I dont think it should end up with superboy because its not about being superboy, and getting Chloe’s powers or Clark’s powers, its about being superman and it shows in SmallVille that how superman began. Clark is superboy now is becoming a superman.
yeah i know but dont you think it should end with Clark having his own family? Like because even that would show how much of a superman he is with a family but still is out there putting his life on the line for others. Thats a superman right there
From the first season the feelings between Clark and Lana are obvious and she showed it in all the seasons, especially in season 6 since beginning to suspect the Clark´s secret she made everything to protecting him , and he really loves her too. Chloe is his best friend but only this and Lois uhm I don´t like her.The life of Clark and Lana was connected from always and should be toghether , remember in the episode Pilot when Martha asked a wish to Lana and then Clark come in Kent´s family.
I do not like the idea of super girl in the show because Clark is the focus on the history, anyway i waiting for season 7 and CLARK AND LANA FOREVER

I know but these people cant keep making it for their entire life, the story of SmallVille show has to end some place, these people also have to make other shows as well not just one show. How dose Clark rescue Lana when Lana’s car blows up? This part I haven’t seen it. It’s my fav show too.

So, Lana has moved to Shanghai in China, i have seen the first episode. Chloe didn’t die, but i don’t think anyone thought that she had..? Next episode will be about Lana in China, i suppose, the episode’s name is after all “Lana”..

it seems lana is turning out to be bad, maybe there trying to push him and clark onto different paths and open up clark with louis lane his true love. lana seems more suspicious this year, and seems to have a fetish of some sorts with lex luthor, heck they even kissed and she enjoyed it! I think she will end up with lex and thats how lex will find out the truth about clark. I hope clarks cousin remembers him! otherwise lex is gonna try to use her against him
Hey guys i haven’t got SmallVille season 7 yet because it’s not out here yet, i can’t wait to see season 7 i go to the movie shop to check if they have SmallVille season 7 but they say they don’t have it now i go to the shop every month to check out if the SmallVille season 7 is arived or not and still it hasn’t come out yet i think i have to wait few more months to get it, i am sure u must be all enjoying SmallVille season 7.

I think season 8 is out and its not out here yet, i mean some parts of season 8 is here but not the complete season 8, i have season 8 but its 1to 10 episode and there r other episodes till about 2 or 3 i think, but i am still looking for complete season 8 and still wondering wats going to happen next on episode 11 of season 8, will Clark able to find Chloe and save her from the ultimate weapon and his fortress from brainac? I really need to see that can’t wait to see it. Oh and tell me all of u guys have seen the complete season 8?

Well Kevin i was watching on the website i searched and i have watched episode 18 but the episode 19,20,21 and 22 r not online so these episodes r come in May. Did u know that the Smallville season 9 is coming up?

i wonder how he will beat doomsday. in the comics he uses a time machine on him to send him to the end of time. but clark already destroyed that ring so idk how they will do it
