Fans have long wished for Clark Kent (Tom Welling) fly in tights in Smallville, and there is a hint that we might not be disappointed.
Smallville season 8 is really about Clark finally stepping out of those red barn doors and embracing the reason he was sent to earth. Mankind needs saving, and he’s the one to do it. This season, the Super will work at the Daily Planet, and use this gig to find people in need. As he gets more into being a hero, a a double identity is needed. Do we see him in glasses? Will he wear the cape and tights? Executive Producer Brian Peterson says, the show will stick to the “no tights” rule, but he has no comments on the “no flights” rule. No comment is good, right?
Working at the Planet also means being around Lois Lane (Erica Durance) more. Friction will come out of that, but maybe chemistry will develop too. There might even be a phone booth moment, adds Peterson. Now that will get fans swooning!

no offense guys, but why do you want lana back so badly?? i mean c’mon, u sound like clark, and thats y they had to take he off of the show, clark cant sit around all of the time whinning for lana, its a waste of time, it was an on and off relationship, he left her a few time and when she left him, she always comes back and expects him to drop everything for her. she brings wayyy too much depression to the show, its time for clark to be happy for a change, and lois is just the girl to make him laugh, she’s hilarious, and obviously, she cares about him, and yes i care abut this show, its STILL the best show ever!! =DD

Lana left because Kristin wanted to get out of the show,you moron!and that`s the only thing why clark will ever move toward lois!Check smallville reviews on internet.a lot of them seems to think tom and erica doent have that chemistry.suck pairing.the rating was so low on apocalypse.IGN even sugested their reader to not watch smallville next year! poor lois lame!

u ppl suck at spelling c’mon lana had to go she was a great person and a big part of clark’s life but i think it’s better for clois because if not when is he gona fall in love with her. i miss lana but kristin wanted out so u can’t blame her for wanting to do other things. she was my favourite character but lois is funnier and lana has changed ever since she married lex so lois is better. in the superman mythology lois and clark are supposed to be soulmates not clark and lana and it’s annoying because their always on and off so. hoping for romance between lois and clark ….
uhm hello? earth to idiotic ppl. they HAD to take lana off the show sooner or later bc lois and clark had to be put together at some point. Kristin didnt just leave, her contract was coming to an end, just in enough time for clois. and if u watch the interviews between the producers, they say how wonderful tom’s chemistry is with Erica on the set. and the only reason y the rating is low, is bc clois fans dont rele care to rate it, in our minds, its awsome, and it ranks top! clana lame fans took way 2 much time trying to get ahead of themselves by rating the show. all i do is watch it, and i love it. i could care less to bicker with u about the rating. its only because u r babies that like 2 pout bc u didnt get ur way, GROW UP. and if i even need to say this again, u guys wil be considered retards, she left clark and said she did it bc she was in the way, and then later on this season, SHE COMES BACK!!! so yea, on my account, she IS selfish. she needs to leave clark and let him do what he needs to. and clark is going to move torwards lois ne ways bc its part of the mythology!! duh! get a clue.

the reason kristen k left and lex is because there contract was over they could have signed on but they wanted new people like tess and doomsday who in the comics kills clark so i think season 8 might be the last but i hope not i love the show

OK the real bits.. Basically.. i have loves smalville for ever.. and i religeously watc it.. but really. season 1 good. 2-3-4 boring !. 5 ok -6 better 7 excellent.. 8 so far so good.
But it seems to me, the more and more i see.. im really just hanging around to see Clark use his powers.. even if it IS to boil some water.. or drive a fence post into the ground..

The point of smallville is to show the steps he took in becoming superman. in the comics, flyin was actually the last power he learnt nd dats at moved him to gettin the costume as well. as for the clana clois stuff, people get over urslf. clana is as real as humans with three arms and five legs. it was never gonna happen. bury ur sorrows. d only reason it even lasted as long as 8 yrs is because smallville wasnt allowed to have any romantic stuff btw lois and clark until after the superman returns hhad aired. dats y dey prolonged it. All dat happens btw lana nd clark is emotion after emotion. sadness after sadness. and she was soooo WEAK, he had to worry about her all the time. even kara said it. watch the ending of bloodline. sooo. GO TO BED LANA FANS, ITS ALLLLL LOIS!!!!
Kristin Kreuk is a good actor, I just don’t like Lana Lang, they made her to be like Clark one and only true love, when everyone knows that Lois is his True Love. Clark and Lois are an epic couple in the fantasy world. Lana lang should have stayed with Jason Teague, but they killed him off didnt they. But still love Smallville. In England we’ve just seen the ‘Bride’ Episode, can’t believe how clark just ignored Lois like she wasn’t there when he saw Lana. But still love Smallville.

the show is dead boring.. we sit here watching clark do stuff like run up fast behind the baddies and push them or whatever.. its like a fill in episode forever.. hurry up and end it already.
First is Sopranos and Seinfeld, then Entourage is the best show mix of comedy Drama… its one huge story (the main plot) with little stories that make the day..and its heading somewhere, but we just cant work out how it will come about.. and thats what makes it exciting.
Smallvile used to be exciting when braniac was sneaking about, now its just “ok, im watching this because its the last season, so i may as well finish it”
