Do you still remember how Smallville started? Smallville premiered to a record breaking 8.4 million viewers tuning in.

The pilot episode set up how the toddler Kal El came to earth in the meteor shower that changed Smallville forever. The meteors killed Lana Lang’s parents and damaged Lex Luthor’s for life, and it wasn’t just his hair. And yet, Kal El’s arrival was a blessing to Jonathan and Martha Kent, who adopted him as Clark Kent.

Jumping ten years after, we meet Clark’s friends and learned of the effects of krypton, and of the young Lana. Ironically, Clark’s meets his future nemesis, when he saves Lex from drowning.

The picture is now drawn for us, of the young boy Clark and his journey into becoming the future Superman.
