My god! I’ve watched smallville from the start and loved every minute of it apart from the bits with her in it! She was dreadful! Every episode with her in it i was hoping they would kill her off! The show is great and i hope they keep going but i really think this will be the last series.

Kristin was a fun character for a while, but who cares about her if they continue with the real plot of superman. You still have chloe and jimmy (jimmy was always around in the comics) and he still has to be able to fly, fall in love with lois lane, be a reporter, and ESPECIALLY take on the role of Superman with the costume and all.
That is the best plot by far left to write and put in the show. That will add a ton of changes for the show and good cliff hangers.
Losing Michael (lex) was a HUGE LOSS. I think they should replace his character with another actor. Too big a character to write around. He was fantastic in the role, but there have been plenty of Lex’s play the role. No reason he can’t be replaced by another great actor. Would be weird at first, but shows do it all the time. People watch because they love the ideal of the American Superman and his journey… not because of the actual actor who plays the villian.
However, they can’t lose the actor for Clark or they are doomed for sure.

You Kristin Kreuk fans are just biased.. Nothing against Kristin, she is really pretty but she is not what the entire show is all about. Smallville will continue to be a hit series because Smallville is SMALLVILLE. A lot of questions in mind about Superman’s life and Superman’s past were answered in this show. Let us not be biased just because one person has left the show.

u realize the show is about the coming of “superman”, not lana lang hu becomes a non-existent character in the series tht is superman. as long as tom welling is clark, the show still holds its purpose. dum a$$holes

I agree about the show sucking without Lex, but the whole Lana and Clark thing is way tired. I was already sick of her before season 7 started, so Im glad that crap is over….but Without Lex, I think my favorite show is forever doomed, and it really, REALLY saddens me!
