The show rating was up due to doomsday character not because of Sam Witler, or his character Davis Bloom. Sam Witler sucks he has same expression and shit

I WAS VERY UPSET WITH THE CASTING OF CALLUM BLUE AS ZOD. I HAVE BEEN WATCHING SMALLVILLE SINCE THE BEGINNING AND SAM WITWER WAS A BREATH OF FRESH AIR TO THE PROGRAM,I AM THINKING OF NOT RETURNING TO SMALLVILLE AFTER 8 YEARS . HE WAS A VERY GOOD ACTOR ONE WHO COULD PLAY A BAD GUY AND A GOOD GUY.THERE WAS CHEMISTRY BETWEEN CHOLE AND HIM,I FELT THAT CLARK HAD A WORTHY ADVERSARY.

They should let sam witwer stay on season 9 apart from being the greatest actor that i’ve known somehow he just seems perfect for the show , if they take sam witwer out not only will the rankings go low but they will lose a very great actor…… hopefully sam witwer stays but if for whatever reasons sam doesnt want to stay i agree with him and if he does stay well thats just great.

I love the face that he is staying on the show. He is a great character and deserves to be on the show. I would like to see Davis’s relationship with Chloe go far. But I would actually like to see him in a superhero movie like the Green Lantern. He would be perfect for the role, I know you must be thinking that I am crazy but just look at him. He has the face and build for the role. He is in about his late 20s or early 30s which makes him even more perfect for the part. He has acting experience so its not like another Brandon Routh incident will reoccur. If not him then I guess Chris Pine is the best rumored choice, but he is not a better one than Sam Witwer. If Pine was given the role he would be paid a ridiculous amount of money and everyone will view him as Captain Kirk, not Green Lantern. Pine also looks nothing like the Green Lantern…
I have many more reasons why he should play the Green Lantern. I am so confident in this that I have even written a petition. Here’s the link, read it and sign before you leave, I’m sure you will agree with me:

Hell YES, Sam should stay! He’s the ‘main’ reason people started watching Smallville again after suffering through the last two disappointing seasons.

Not to mention that the chemistry between his character, Smallville’s hero paramedic and all around good guy Davis Bloome and Chloe is the HOTTEST thing on TV this season…period!

However, given the man’s talent and obvious range of acting abilities, a better question would have been would he want to stay?

I think not. It’s pretty obvious to me after watching Sam on Smallville and other shows like Dexter that he’s acting abilities would be wasted if he gets himself type casted be staying on Smallville…

Sam is destined for better things… After all we know he has the talent for it.

It depends on what they have planned for the character. Seems to me their version of Doomsday is based on the duality and conflict between Davis and Doomsday(very much taken from Hulk) but I was really hoping that Davis will “die” at the end of this season, and became full-time Doomsday, who’s a mindless beast and it kinda shorten the interest on him as a dramatic character. Still, I believe that Doomsday doesn’t need to be much more deeper after this season 8, like last season when Lex left and viewers got some relief on him and now are wanting for him to come back.I guess that would be a nice choice with Doomsday too, so you don’t have a character worn out with over-expossure.

they should bring sam witwer back because he is the hottest guy on the show and he and chloe should have there happy ending.And he is d reason d show is returning for a 9 season!!
