As if these ladies weren’t badass enough already, deviantART user Michael Dooney has found a way to make them even more so. Dooney’s steampunk-inspired designs have taken a handful of classic female comic book characters and tossed them into the late 1800s, giving us such glories as this Super Girl decked out in garters and goggles. Goggles are awesome. If I were a superhero, I’d totally want them. Check out four more spectacularly steampunk heroines, including Emma Frost and Zatanna, after the jump!
(Okay, I know Princess Leia isn’t technically a superhero, but I much prefer this version to the traditional Slave Leia. Don’t you?)
