Sneak Peek of Pedro: The Movie

Next Wednesday at 9pm MTV is going to be airing Pedro: The Movie, a film that pays tribute to late Real Worlder Pedro Zamora.  Of course, Pedro was the gay, Latino, HIV positive cast member from the San Francisco season who’s story impacted young people nationwide.

Here’s how the film’s director Nick Oceano described Pedro to MTV.

“It basically recounts his experience with being on the show and also going a bit further back into his childhood when he grew up in Cuba, when his family moved to Florida, and recounts his teenage years to the point that he got a diagnosis of HIV. It’s an epic scope — so hopefully it’s introducing [him] to a lot of people who haven’t met Pedro but also reacquainting audiences with who he was.”
