Another day, another dumbass celebrity caught with a whole pack of fighting dogs. Listen to this:
KPNX television in Phoenix is reporting that the Maricopa County, Ariz. Sheriff’s Department raided rapper DMX’s home this morning in Cave Creek and removed 12 distressed pit bulls.
DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, was not home at the time. News 12 is reporting a large cache of weapons was found in the home as well.
DMX has a long rap sheet (pun intended), which includes a guilty plea to animal cruelty charges in 2002.
UPDATE: According to DMX’s attorney Murray Richman, it was all about the blazing Arizona heat. Richman claims that someone reported the dogs were at risk because of the extreme temperatures, telling TMZ “Earl has a caretaker, who obviously wasn’t taking care. Earl loves those dogs.” Richman added that DMX isn’t even in Az and hasn’t been there for several months because he’s off working on a project.
Okay, so first of all, he had a caretaker? Let’s ask Ving Rhames’ caretaker how he feels about taking care of a pack of rabid pit bulls. Oh wait – we can’t ask him! Because the motherfuccker is DEAD!
Secondly, I think that a guy who had a snarling pit bull prominently featured on his hit album (see above) and has been charged with animal cruelty charges in the past is probably is not going to be too worried about A)leaving them out in the heat and B)giving a flying rat’s ass about them AT ALL, mmkay?
Gosh, I can’t wait to see what Jamie Foxx is going to say about THIS one. Did DMX forget to read the “black guy’s manual” as well?
Personally I think that anyone who abuses a poor helpless creature is a P.O.F.S and a coward and pretty much deserves whatever may come his way. The evidence says it all. I don’t give a S*it about him not being at his house. As the owner he is responsible for what happens there. If only a jury could convict him and decide on a sentence. I would put him in a cage with a bunch of those dogs and just let them have at it.

Ok this is for JB…what are you talking about??? Hellooooo the topic is DMX fighting/abusing APBTs (Amer Pitt Bull Terriers)…not about Bush/Cheney/Iraq NOR blacks being lynched. DMX plead guilty 5yrs ago genious to animal cruelty…how much more “truth” do you need when it came RIGHT out of his mouth??? Being white, blk, latino or asian has NOTHING to do with the fact of what DMX has done in the past and most likely has CONTUNUED to do to date! Let me school you on this…GOD isn’t going to give anyone (Michael Vick & DMX) a gift/talent/blessing for them to use it for wickedness against a creature that HE created. Do the math…dog spelled backwards is GOD!
How about you white people who like to hang black people from trees. Is that not cruel. oh no it’s not. who knows if dmx is telling the truth. If he is lying then I AGREE I AGREE with you. But first find out the TRUTH. Here is some truth, comment on this. Bush and Chaney own part in oil. Our friends and family are fighting to make them richer while the whole country suffers. Is that not cruel?

In the world of Dog fighting It’s sad that money has to get involed for us to notice this activity thats been going on for more then a few years. We have all seen reports about fighting dogs killing children and attacking people in the street. But I guess the cases were not high profile enough to get the media attention. The media only cases about money! The bigger the name the better the news is to them. This is very sad. I had to kill pit that ran in my back yard after my son and this was a pit that was used for fighting. Did it get any attention … HELL NO. Several months later the same person but a different dog got lose and attached another kid. This is about the juditial system making its money off a celebrities name. So I saay FUK the media! I don’t agree with the dog fighting at all … but lets see …. the mexicans are having cock-fights every damn where …. the asians are fighting horses, YES HORSES! But there is no money to gain it focusing on that. I’m 40 yrs old and when I was younger and we saw a dog tied up that looked hungry or what ever we bought it water. Today people look the other way until its big news. So what you got a rich celeb. in court or even jail … but then when the news part dems what happens? NOTHING.
maybe when he first got into trouble he shouldnt have been allowed to have animals again. because look what hes doing to our beautiful pits. another story in the making for those “mean, vicious” pitbulls, that animal lovers call their bestfriends. really, what is it going to take for these heartless men to get them to stop fighting and abuseing animals? they all need to put themselves in the dogs positions, would DMX like to be starved to death? would vick like to be biten bite after bite? no, i wouldnt think so. these men BOTH NEED JAIL TIME. and im not talking a month to a year, im talking YEARS. just because they are famous doesnt give them a right to abuse such loyal beautiful animals.
as far as im concered, all my DMX cds were put into a fire.

DMX’s been fighting dogs since way before Vick got involved. Hell, DMX even came out with an album named Grand Champion. And then he plead guilty in 02 for animal cruelty related to this. So yeah, hearing about DMX in trouble with dog fighting, it’s more like a “Damn, AGAIN?!” than “OMG ANOTHER CELEB FIGHTIN DOGS O NOES!!!”
