Starr Manning is pregnant. Now the question is, should she keep it? Should the writers write a teen mother storyline? Or should they write an adoption or worse another teen miscarriage ala Jessica Buchanan. Let’s not forget abortion ala Lulu Spencer from General Hospital.

Feel free to add other answers. Opine your own thoughts at the comment box. I’m voting for a Teen Mother storyline. It’s high time Daytime TV tackle this story. I’m sure they’ve done it before. Like years and years ago. Soaps haven’t done one recently. With the dynamics that involve the Manning Family, Starr is the perfect teen character to tackle this storyline.
In my opinion Starr should have the baby, we can see how she & Cole handles adult responcibilty, we can’t always see a rainbow(real life isn’t that way) we also can’t have young teens thinking sex has no consequences!Maybe she can have twins? Abortions & miscarriages are always what we the veiwers see, lets see Starr & Cole grow from this.
I have to agree we saw an abortion plot line on GH.. It would be refreshing to see the struggles of a young teen mother. Granted she is rich. But would be happy to see this plot line with a lil bundle at the end. Otherwise I am not very intersted in watching soaps again. This has been a very refreshing storyline.
I think that Star and Cole should have the baby and Blair and Todd should help raise the baby or something along those lines. Abortion has been played out and honestly who wants to see another baby “die”.
i think that they should have the baby. i personally do not like the abortion storylines whatsoever. its just so depressing to see how these “kids” have sex and then just use abortion as an act of birth control. it really lessens the true impact that sex has on life.
I think they should have the baby. Abortion, we’ve seen it already and it’s heartbreaking enough and it sends the wrong message, have sex if we get pregnant, we’ll have an abortion … Let them have the baby and assume the responsability of their actions… they wanted to do grown ups things, they should suffer the consequences and grow up and take care of it as responsable parents to that baby.
