Sofia Vassilieva recenty attended Elle Magazine’s 16th annual Women in Hollywood event. She was there to honor her Eloise co-star, Dame Julie Andrews. While I couldn’t get access to any of the photos of them together to post here, I did find a nice gallery that shows them hugging and even sitting at the same table during the event.
There’s also a nice video in which Sofia talks about how excited she is to see Andrews again. She also talks about how Andrews was the one who really taught her set etiquette, and how working with strong female co-stars like Dame Julie Andrews, Patricia Arquette, and Cameron Diaz has taught her.

Wish there is more Sofia in Medium.
I don’t know who’s dressing her, but whoever it is should be chastised for dressing Sofia like she’s 25 instead of 16! These Hollywood kids grow up way too fast as it is, but at least this dress isn’t as revealing as the last one. the dress is fine, but the make-up and earrings are just too old for a 16 year old.
Thanks for the video clip, I love listening to her speak. She’s so articulate for someone so young. And I’ve always been envious of anyone brought up bilingual, or trilingual in Sofia’s case.
I like this dress, can’t comment on the make-up since I only wear the stuff if I really must.
Sofia looks nice in these pictures. I prefer this dress. It suits her better at her age than those dresses she’s worn in previous photos. The makeup looks fine aside from the bright lipstick but I know my daughter who is ten and her friends like to play around with lipstick like that. I don’t let her leave the house with it on. I think it is okay for Sofia at sixteen to wear lipstick to a big event.
It’s not the fact she has make-up on, however, at this age, I think she should use just enough to enchance her natural beauty. The dark lipstick and fake eyelashes and dark eye make-up are too much, IMO, for a 16 year old. The earrings seem too old for her as well. I am glad this dress isn’t low cut and cut up to her “pupick” as Stacy London would say. The dress is fine, the make-up is more hoochy.

Sofia is a pretty girl. I don’t think she really needs much makeup. She would look prettier without that bright red lipstick. I guess she wears it to stand out for the camera but I think she would look better in a much more natural shade.
I believe she recently turned 17 and looks her age in these photos.
It’s fun to see interviews with her. And Loved her dress way better then the last one. And I hope tht she gets more space after “Bite Me” episode. Cus I LOVE the Patricia-Sofia scenes! And I just need to say (cus I want to get in the filmproduction)if I get to work with someone half as good as Sofia I’d be very blessed! Can’t wait for the “Bite Me” epiode, could be kinda fun with some spoooky stuff around Halloween!
It’s okay that she wears makeup to a big event, she is sixteen or seventeen and I go overboard myself sometimes.. But she doesn’t look sixteen her face still looks like Eloise! Love that movie btw. (:
