Sofia Vassilieva's Cute New Hairstyle

sofia-vassilieva-two-nc

For those who were sure Sofia wouldn’t really cut off all that pretty hair for a chance to act in My Sister’s Keeper, here’s proof that she did! She is looking great with an adorable spiky do that makes the most of her hair as it grows back in. I wonder if Ariel will be rebelling against her parents and cutting her hair in Medium in season five or if they will continue to have Sofia wear a wig on set?

Here’s a close up of that cute hair style:

Personally, I think it’s dumb to make them cut their hair when they have lots of methods they could do to have the same effect. Long hair can be incredibly hard to care for though. If the hair is thick, when it’s that long it can give you a headache. I worked for a woman once who had hair that was very thick she could actually sit on and it gave her a headache when she tried to keep it up in a bun or in a ponytail.

Ariel is a delight to watch and I thought the actress who plays her had her hair grow back already guess I was wrong. Hope there are more Ariel moments in this year’s Medium, like last week and tonight.

I personally think the haircut is anything but ‘cute’ as the captions say, but I find it very humbling that someone like her (a movie star) would shave her head to honor lumkemia patients (even if it was just for the part in the movie, that specific part in the movie honors the cancer patients, in my opinion anyway). Her hair is absolutely gorgeous, and I really hope it grows out long and beautifully again asap.
