I know everyone misses seeing Sofia Vassilieva as Ariel on Medium. It just doesn’t seem the same without her tormenting her little sister at the breakfast table! So, I thought I’d tell you about some of the news coming back from the My Sister’s Keeper set:
Miss Missy found a bit of news about how the filming is going. Apparently, it is going to be a four hankie film, because Sofia V. and Abigail Breslin are even making their coworkers sob while the movie is being made and you know how many disruptions are on set. Imagine how hard we’re going to be crying over that scene in a movie theater if the other actors are crying on set. Sounds like Sofia is really having a chance to show off her acting talent.
JFX found Sofia having some down time, because Cameron Diaz (You know she is playing Sofia’s mom, right? She doesn’t seem momish to me.) is on bereavement leave for the death of her father and they’re waiting to resume filming. I know it is hard to lose a parent and I really hope Cameron gets to grieve in peace for a bit without people shoving cameras in her face.

Thanks for sharing that, Katelyn. I’ve wondered how filming was going and if Sofia was going to be back on Medium this season. Maybe while filming is shut down (so sorry for Cameron Diaz’ loss), she can shoot a few scenes for Medium.
She is an amazing little actress, and I bet when this movie comes out, people are going to be saying “Abigail WHO?” Lol!
Seriously, in all the press and pics that I’ve seen about this movie, Sofia is hardly mentioned at all. When she is, it’s an afterthought. But I bet a lot more people are going to be taking notice of her when this comes out.

I hope she gets nominated for an Oscar!
I, too, was sorry to hear of Cameron’s loss.
Sounds like it’s going to be a good movie – I’m surprised they didn’t at least get Sofia to record some voice tracks of her yelling from the bedroom she was fixing her hair or on the phone or some other teenager thing – you know, trying on everything in her closet….but wait, I do that! Ha!

Haha, Betty, my sisters do the same.
I guess we’ll miss her, and I was just starting to see Sofia really take on her role in the Medium. It’s sad to have her swept away right when I was getting to see more of her. :(
Oh well, to substitute for Ariel’s teenage drama, they’ve opened up the new venue with Marie and her tuning in with her psychic abilities. It seems a bit awkward how Ariel seems to be so busy though. :P
