Some after-the-fact Beautiful Life spoilers

When Mischa Barton’s show The Beautiful Life was canceled after only a few episodes, it left a lot of questions about the storylines.

Particularly of interest were questions about Mischa Barton’s character Sonja, who had a secret baby. Who is the father?

Want to know what happened in the other episodes that the cast was working on before they received word the show was canceled? MTV got a few spoilers from a production staff member, who revealed there was lots of juicy stuff to come on the show (if it had been given a chance).

Follow the jump, to read what was in the works on the episodes that didn’t air:

Sonja’s baby daddy was Claudia’s (Elle MacPherson) husband Richard (played by Ed Quinn, True Blood, Eureka). Richard was the head of a large cosmetics company and in order to get Sonja back, he decides to design a new makeup line called “Reinvention” and use Sonja as the face of the product. Claudia eventually finds one of Sonja’s earrings in his office and figures out what has been going on behind her back. Sonja does leave Claudia’s agency out of guilt of the rekindled affair, but several episodes later her new agency is bought out by Claudia, reuniting the two women.

Raina’s (Sara Paxton) father is the head of the Russian mob in New York and was arrested for racketeering. Raina’s brother Alex (Billy Magnussen) took a lot of money from the mob to buy a club. Raina makes a deal with her dad to keep her brother safe, but eventually Raina’s creepy ex-boyfriend Dimitri kills him.

Raina and Chris (Ben Hollingsworth) weren’t going to have sex until the seventh episode. Unfortunately, they leave a party early, and had they stayed, they may have prevented her brother’s death.

Sonja and Cole (Nico Tortorella) did have history together. And in episode 7, they end up under the sheets.

There have been rumors that The CW will eventually air the unaired episodes, but so far all that The CW has said is that they haven’t made a decision. I don’t think they will air at all, unfortunately.
