Sophie Monk’s revenge against Paris Hilton

I am not sure why Australia News thinks that Sophie Monk needs to take revenge against Paris Hilton. Surely her engagement with Benji broke off for something deeper than a fling with Paris Hilton?

THEY say revenge is a dish best served cold, which would be true in Sophie Monk’s case – except for one small detail.

The dish has just scored herself a hot new romance.

While Monk’s ex-fiance Benji Madden and his new fling Paris Hilton are making A’s of themselves flaunting “B” and “P” necklaces around Hollywood, the Aussie actress’s own love life is looking absolutely AOK.

Far from crying over spilt milk in the wake of her broken engagement to the Good Charlotte rocker, Monk is busy making sweet music with US multi-millionaire Jason Rubin.

Looking relaxed and refreshed, Monk was snapped having a cosy breakfast at the Griddle cafe on Sunset Strip with the gaming guru, who last year sold one of his companies to Fox Interactive Media for more than $US20 million, according to Who magazine.

Touting a list of business credentials to rival the length of Good Charlotte’s entire discography, Rubin is an internet company founder, comic book creator and video-game director – best known for being the brains behind the animated character Crash Bandicoot.

While Madden is the poster boy for punk rock, Rubin is the pin-up of video gaming, having founded his games development company Naughty Dog in 1986 when he was just 16.

And it’s clearly game on for the pair, with Monk telling the mag she was “feeling really good” while out and about in LA last week.

Monk and Rubin’s quiet courtship is in stark contrast to the circus show Madden and Hilton have been parading for the paparazzi, which has to mean triple bonus points for the former Bardot singer in this showdown of celebrity romances.
