I have to say that Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal have got to me one of my absolute, number one, favorite couples of them all!
No picture of theirs ever looks staged. They always look like they are having a blast with each other, and it seems to be a pretty equal balanced relationship. I mean, who am I to make that statement, but that is the impression I get through any photos I see of them. I am no ‘body language’ reader but I can certainly tell when one partner thinks that they are better than the other and that is not the case here.
Jake at first seems so timid and shy, just a genuine nice guy. Him and Reese definitely took their time with their relationship which is a good thing because look at where it got them. Especially since there are two kids involved, who by the way seem to really enjoy Jake’s company just as much as Reese does!
I have to admit, I was a little disappointed when her and Ryan Phillipe first broke up, but that’s only because I was obsessed with Cruel Intentions (where Reese and Ryan also met).
Jake and Reese met on the set of the 2007 movie Rendition where their roles were not even that intertwined but apparently still had the chance to make quite the impression on each other. Jake was on Ellen DeGeneres a while back and I thought he was just the most adorable thing alive. He even cooked on her show as he said it is something he loves to do. I’m jealous of Reese not only for her looks but for her catch!
Love is definitely in the air with this couple, especially after been spotted ring shopping at New York’s Fred Leighton jewelry store! I would love it if Reese and Jake were to wed.
