Glee, the new one-hour musical comedy series coming to FOX, will get a special preview following American Idol on May 19 at 9 to 10 p.m. ET/PT, with the show then premiering later on in the fall for 12 more episodes.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, FOX chairman Peter Liguori said Glee deserves an “ambitious and unique kick-off.”

Glee, by Ryan Murphy (Nip/Tuck), follows an optimistic high school teacher Will Schuester (Matthew Morrison) as he tries to reinvent the school’s glee club with a group of outcasts.
