Studio B For Sale, Justine D and DFA Holiday Party Now At LPR

According to the blog Grub Street, Studio B is for sale for $1 million and $22,000 per month in rent. The club has a had a lot of trouble, what with their Greenpoint neighbors noise complaints and their illegal rooftop building this summer. They have events listed on their calendar through the end of the year, and then one event in January: Lindstrom on the 29th. Wonder if that will get moved?

Also, promoter Justine D announced that she is moving to (le) Poisson Rouge, where she plans to “bring all the great talent I had at my former projects like MOTHERFUCKER, NIGHT TIME @ Don Hill’s and STUDIO B.” She then announced the DFA Holiday Party which will be at LPR on Friday, December 19 with DJs James Murphy, Pat Mahoney, Juan Maclean, Shit Robot, Matt Cash & Invisible Conge People (live).
