Superman Returns sequel posponed

superman returns ver3‘Superman: The Man of Steel’, the Bryan Singer sequel of Superman Returns, which was slated to be released in 2009, may now be moved further to another year.

Director Bryan Singer previously told Rotten Tomatoes that he wanted to make the Superman sequel after “Valkyrie”. But his producers want to him to work on another movie first.

“The next Superman, that’s a ways off,” claimed Neil Meron, with Craig Zadan adding. “Don’t worry about it. Trust me. We may even start preproduction on Harvey Milk while he’s on post production on the Tom Cruise movie.”

please add into the movie a cyborg superman battling the real superman.

Darkseid!! Darkseid!! Darkseid!! Superman Vs Darkseid!! That would be an awesome sequel, plus we would get to see Superman duke it out with someone of similar strength and power. Heck it could spand into two movies or a trilogy. Superman and the New Gods!! That would be the sh*t!!

Brandon Routh does not come close to the true body build of Superman. He is has a very femanine body, type unlike Tom Wellings, who has a stronger likeness to the type of body that we have grown to know, with broad shoulders, wide back, tough look exterior that viewers can see. That type of body structure does consist with the strong corn bred farm boy that the comics portray, and the smile that shows the humbleness of a hero and the courage and strength of Superman as a true deffender and protector of Earth and peoples rights.

I agree Tom Welling is the only actor to come close to the comic book description and Chris Reeves. Superman should be what every women wants in a man and what men would like to look like. No other actor can come close. Plus his TV Superman has saved the intrest in any Superman in my opinion. You keep picking other actors who are girly or do not fit what Superman should look like. Right actor = great film.

I agree about Tom Welling. He’s got the build and the look. Bryan Singer made Routh look like a porcelain doll with his too smooth face. In my opinion, Superman has never looked gayer on screen.

I have to disagree, I think that Routh made a great Superman. I think he looked very much like Christopher Reeve. Don’t get me wrong I think Tom Welling plays a great Clark. I think maybe we should see how he does in a sequel before we pass judgement.

I stongly agree with Jerry, Marcia and Ed. Tom 100% fit the desciption of superman, he has played Clark Kent for way too long I think it should be time for him to get promoted to his rightful rank to be Superman. All the describle traits fits it’s outlook and nothing geater about a movie is when you watching it you have a consistency of the same actor that fits the character. quick example for the Hulk movie Edward Norton embrass the character more then the first actor because he’s a reat atcor and he corespond with the marvel comics description. I’m all for Tom for the next superman all my posse agreess that he’s the right man for the job.

Please fire that skinny loser Routh. The majority want to see Tom Welling in the next Super Man movie. Tom is Superman.
Routh barely looks like Super Man, he is too skinny and kinda of ugly. The last movie was BORING

brandon routh is a goodlooking superman, but his body could be more muscular, bigger and stronger. He needs a buff body.I wish kate bosworth looked like victoria silvstedt or elle macpherson or indian actress ishaa koppikar, then superman would have a really cute ,gorgeous girlfriend.
