Jared Padalecki (Dean Forester on Gilmore Girls) makes his return to television tonight with the return of Supernatural after its midseason break. If you haven’t watched Supernatural this season, you should! It’s been the best season yet, I think. You can catch my reviews of it here and here.

Since my last review of the show, we saw ‘Monster Movie‘ (one of the most creative episodes I’ve seen any show do in a long time – black & white was awesome!), and 5 more episodes that mixed the monster-fighting with huge character revelations and the growth of the war between Heaven and Lilith, who is trying to open Hell. The last episode, ‘Heaven and Hell‘, even involved a fallen angel.
In tonight’s episode, ‘Family Remains’, a man’s mysterious death causes Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) to believe that his house may be haunted, but when the home’s new owners move in during the investigation, an unexpected and gruesome discovery complicates matters.
