MWA asked that I draw attention to this important battle for the Emmy:
I have been going to Golden Derby forums for some time now, and have been dishing about upcoming awards, etc.
Now is the time to show your support for Patricia. Up until now, she has been said to be a likely Emmy nominee, and a lot of posters are now replacing her name with Calista Flockhart or Ellen Pompeo. This must be stopped.

to defend the honor of our talented lady Arquette. She has earned an Emmy nomination this year, and let’s out our views out there to support her.
Did I mention that to be nominated for an Emmy this year, the noms are based on 50% popularity and 50% tape submission? The more we post and show out support, the more it helps Patricia’s popularity (as long as we are not crazed Patricia fans, it helps to be rationale here).
She submitted ‘Be Kind, Rewind” for her Emmy submit tape, and Jake Weber submitted “The One Behind the Wheel” for his, which will also help Patricia out.
Let’s show the posters and Emmy voters why Patricia has such a loyal following, and that her outstanding work on ‘Medium’ remains Emmy worthy and praise worthy.

I went over and left my comments, though it probably won’t do any good. The posters at the Envelope are as opinionated as anyone else, and many are simply too stubborn to admit that Patricia deserved her first Emmy, much less another one.
I have almost given up hope of a nomination for Patricia, just because of those people over there. It is sad that a truly talented actress like her is so underappreciated and overlooked by people like that. If you listen to a lot of them, you will find that they don’t even watch Medium, and yet they continue to criticize her and diminish her talents without ever having seen her work on that show. And many continue to insist that other less-deserving, and far less-likely, shows and performers will be stronger contenders than her. And sadly, it is almost a general consensus that Jake Weber has no shot at a nomination, which is so wrong. But because of the popularity rule, it is unfortunately most likely true.
But unfortunately that is the nature of today’s pop-culture oriented society. Those who deserve the attention rarely get enough, and those who don’t, get too much. It’s a sick, twisted world we live in.
I agree with Katelyn, we need to try and be positive about this situation. If we aren’t optimistic we stand no chance of changing popular opinion.
Well, all we can do is try. Patricia certainly deserves an Emmy and so does Jake. He had some amazing scenes.
Thanks for the Patricia support guys! I really think, as still do some critics, that Patricia will land an Emmy nod this year, and is at least in the top 10 contender list.
The question now is with Calista Flockhart’s and Sally Field’s submission tapes, people are buzzing that those 2 will get in, basically one of them bouncing Patricia out.
I am confident she will get in, but we need to (sanely and rationally) persist regarding her brilliant Emmy submission and popularity, etc.
My but is that she will get in.
I totally support both Patricia and Jake not only being nominated, but WINNING in their categories. I’m disappointed that they may have fierce competition this year from more popular (but not necessarily better) shows. However, I will stay optimistic and loyal to Medium regardless of the outcome.
Hi Everyone!! it has been quite awhile I havent say anything… I would like to input my opoinion that Look at the bright side… Medium has one more season to go.. If they loose the Emmy . DOnt worry, They will have another chance next year…
By the way, Angelica Huston is Awesome Actress and I surely hope she will get the Emmy Award this year and that will boost the Medium scores or whatever it is. Please continue your supports no matter what. Patricia will be very appreciate of your postiive encouragement . SHe will need that.
For JaKe Weber. I dont feel bad about him. He just need to work little harder but eventually he will win Award when the time is right..
I wish Maria Lark would win at Kids Choice Awards or something for the Kids. SHe is s uch a ham!
