Suri Cruise is already throwing A-list parties and she’s only 2! Okay, okay…we know Katie most likely planned the whole thing, but the idea of Suri having friends over for a play date party is pretty darn cute!
On Sunday, Suri “hosted” a little party with some friends at their new Beverly Hills mansion.
We don’t know too many details about the little toddler bash, but a source for E! News said that Victoria Beckham’s three boys were there. They also said that the kids drove around a miniature John Deere truck and Escalade. That sounds like fun!
Dinner was at 5 pm and everyone headed back inside around 6 pm. Later on, the adults all watched the Lakers game. Who knows what the kids were doing during that. 
I am sure the party was a lot of fun and that Suri looked adorable in a dress of some sort. Too bad there aren’t any pictures!! If any of you find some, let me know.

Julie – check out E! Online. I recall seeing a story about this on their program Monday, and they showed a snapshot of Suri in a cute little pink sundress-like outfit. I know that sometimes the pics can get mixed up, and they’ll show an older one to go with a story, but I think this was an actual pic from the party. Worth a shot, right?

I have no idea how Katie has all this energy…..lets look at all she has done in the past few weeks: jetted to NYC for meetings/rehersals/apt. hunting. Then, back to LA for a huge housewarming party, MTV awards show, and now more hosting with Suri and friends. I swear, I could not do all that she does. I would be exhausted. I know that she had party planners etc. for the housewarming event, but still ya gotta look good and be outgoing and entertaining. That all takes a toll. I simply could not do all that she does…I lack the energy!!!!
Wow cant wait to see the picture of Suries playdate party!!!! Katie is a such wonderful super women. Love her!
Jenna, I know what you mean. I would be exhausted and sleep for a week. I took my hats off for her when she run that marathon and went for a party later that day. I guess when you are doing something fun you do not think about getting tired.
I saw some pictures on x17. They seemed like they were taken with a helicopter over the house which I found intrusive. Suri wore a cute pink-ish dress.
Lauren, I wondered how in the world she did the marathon and wore killer heels that same night. I have surfed around a few runner’s sites and not one of them says they are capable of doing anything but collapsing after a 26 mile run. And yet she did it in a top without a bra, and pants that drug the ground, but were not dirty at the end, as well as carrying an ipod which is totally against the rules -no matter who you are–I love Katie, but this one I didn’t quite buy into. I have a friend who just runs one of those 13k or whatever the length it is and they told me they go home to a very hot tub and wouldn’t think about walking for a day or two much less wearing killer heels. I have given this a lot of thought and I just don’t see how anyone-in whatever shape they were in, could do this.
Concerned Mom, she didn’t run the marathon,
she made an appearance in it.
CM: I believe she finished, but if you look at the pics, you’ll see that she was walking, not running. Still an accomplishment in my book.
TOO CUTE! A play date for Suri!! I can just picture her maybe being little Miss Bossy to the Beckham boys. And of course they would be having a blast in that HUGE yard.
Interacting with other children is SO important.
As for KH’s energy between the two coasts, I travel a lot and what I try to do, on the short trips, is keep to my west coast time. It makes it much easier when I get back home. If I am going to be east for a while, I take a red eye so I will be ready to ‘hit the hay’ that first night by 9pm est which is 6pm pst. Then the next morning I am right on track.
It does help when you have the hired help, as KH does, to make sure the daily things are done.
Darin, kh’s timing chip did the marathon. That is a FACT! Not sure if SHE was wearing it or not, since ALL runners were to have it visible on their shoe for the entire run and hers was not, her yoga pants covered where it supposedly was.
Maybe she was able to break the rules, she was wearing a iPod which is a HUGE NO NO!
Whatever conspiracies you cook up and you conconct on your bash-fest sites, the fact is SHE RAN A MARATHON. It is on record, no legitmate media disputed it and even the disgruntled Roger Friedman did his ‘investigation’ and admitted that even though he wanted to believe the contrary, Katie it appears run her marathon. Hate Tom Cruise all you want but you cannot take that achievement from that girl simply because ‘…… you asked around and no one can do it and ipods are not allowed….’ Sheesh, some of this stuff is so juvenile that I can’t believe am responding to it.
And that ‘I love Katie’ is too lame. You love her, yet you wanted MM to bomb and her marriage to fail. Forgive me if am not bowled over by your love.
BTW, That marathon idea too was not original, it was force-fed down your throat.

I am a Katie fan. YOU can’t speak for me or how I feel. The jury is still out on this marriage so time will, as they say tell. In viewing pictures recently compared to the first IN-LOVE pics, the honeymoon is definitely over. I do believe that TC on a GOOD day is probably quite difficult to keep up with and very demanding. He is sort of like Elvis-they get to a point where NO ONE will say no to them. He is definitely in charge here. About the marathon, if you can find me ONE source besides Katie that could even WALK 26 miles and then wear spiked heels that same night, I will admit maybe she did do the whole thing. Pictures of her start around the 18 mile mark, altho this is a totally covered event and thousands of folks walking around with cell phones. If this were a normal hollywood marriage, it would have some serious odds. 3 time married hollywood star TC with a much younger wife–Boggles my mind that the odds alone aren’t considered staggering against them making it. They may pull it off- no one really knows. If they do, they will be beating odds that should be bet on in Vegas-and probably are since everything is bet on in that town. If she is truly happy, then none of this matters at all. Surely no one here believes that TC and KH are being advised of what folks are saying on this site or any other. One example would be that if they knew about all that was being said, surely Suri would not be seen in public with a bottle EVER. at around 2 1/2, that doesn’t seem like a brilliant idea and yet still she is everywhere with it. Please note, I was and am a staunch supporter of the blanket as I think she still might need it. But with the new sippy cups that are available-and since we know price is no object-, no need for a bottle-really. The main reason I think he is controlling is what I like to refer to as THE GRIP. Hundreds and hundreds of photos with what looks like a painful grip on either her upper arm OR right above her wrist or sometimes BOTH. Since you check out the ‘other’ site I have a post showing this grip on JULIA ROBERTS too. TC is lucky she did not just deck him!! Maybe KH will tolerate it, but Julia?? Not thinking so much.. You feel your defense of TC is valid and I feel that for safety and sanity, Katie needs to be out of there. I’d say neither of us is going to change, but please do NOT presume to tell me how I feel. My feelings as well as my reasoning are as valid to me as yours are to you.

WHY are people still talking about and speculating about whether or not KH ran this marathon?? It was how many months ago? Even if she did not run it I am interested to know how or why this is relevant to anyone’s life? I don’t know if she really ran this race or not and I really don’t care. She says she did and the race officials say she did. I don’t care if her pants weren’t dirty or she didn’t wear a bra or did wear an ipod. My goodness….she didn’t run a race because her pants were clean, she was braless and she wore high heels to dinner? Concerned Mom…I really appreciate your opinions and feel that you have a legitimate concern for Katie most of the time…but I am sorry to say that I don’t understand why you need someone to find you proof from “ONE source besides Katie” that someone could wear high heels immediately after running a marathon before you will believe she actually ran the race. I can’t imagine actually wanting to wear high heels after running or even walking a long race but maybe Katie was being like a lot of women can be (myself included) and put herself through some torture to look nice. Haven’t most of us worn uncomfortable shoes because they worked with our outfit better than the comfortable ones? Or spent several hours clinching our legs together so as to remain ladylike and modest in that short dress because we looked cuter in it than the long one? If all Katie did was go to dinner after that race then she wasn’t walking much in those high heels anyway…probably a short walk out to the car and then into the restaurant and then to the table. Maybe a trip to the ladies room and then back out to the car and back to wherever she was staying. That isn’t a lot of walking.
Something else to think about….from what I understand a lot of people run this race and there are people who also watch from the sidelines….if KH did NOT run then why didn’t anyone come forward and report that…fellow racers or specators? Surely someone would have spilled the beans about not seeing her anywhere.
On the topic of this thread, I think that Suri’s little party sounded fun and I hope a good time was had by all.
No one saw her until Cruise popped out with Suri in his arms around mile 18 or so for his kiss.
I agree, give up with the marathin thing. Katie has to live with whatever lies she tells or doesn’t tell, not the rest of us.

If Roger Friedman could have proven that KH did not run the NYC Marathon, he would have done so and done so in the loudest way possible.

I think the party is just another rumor. The only pics I saw was the family mostly kids having lunch in their back garden but since the pics were taken by helicopters at their home many sites don’t have them.
Wow, I bet other mags will have pictures. Hola Mag which of course is in Spanish seems to have pictures that are not shown anywhere else. I would love to see pictures of Suri playing with other children. I guess play dates are the main way Hollywood folks get their kids socialized. Living in that stratosphere doesn’t allow for much normalcy unless you get out of dodge and live totally out of the Hollywood scene. Maybe we will see pics of Suri out and about with Mom this summer in NY too.
Con.mom: from the pics I saw, you can’t see that much…it looks like they’re just finished eating lunch and the pics were taken in a couple of minutes, so you can’t really see her play or anyone for that matter.

We will go round in circles at this rate. If Suri is older to some people, then she is. End of story. They want to believe that and they will, even if you brought video footage dated April 18 2005 of Katie giving birth, or DNA or birth certificates. It is no use and lets not start.

……….That story has run it’s course and has no basis in fact.
No one really knows when Suri was born, her birth certificate was not completed properly, wonder why, maybe another illusion.
Re. Katie running the marathon.
1. If she was able to break the rule, even one tiny one then someone in the organizing committee was bought.
2. If they were bought, they would not confirm that she did not run the marathon. They are silent. This is the best option.
I don’t believe she ran all 26 miles. She didn’t even walk. After any prolonged period in flat position (and I’m not talking about pounding to the hard ground constantly yet) the feet (or any other part of your body, even the soft hair) will be in great pain when being shifted to other position, especially one in high heel. Having experienced this type of pain numerous times, I can’t believe that Katie ran.
Re Suri looks older than Grier.
There is no basis in fact yes but one’s opinion of such is still allowable. I too think Suri is much older than Grier. She looks around Violet’s age.
Don’t believe she’s Cruise’s either.
