On tonight’s episode of Survivor: Samoa, we see the tribe members of Foa Foa talking about how Ben needs to go if the tribe loses one more challenge. They were all disgusted with the inappropriate things he said about Yasmin and his attitude in general.
But Ben just kept telling everyone that they couldn’t survive without him. He told the girls that they wouldn’t be able to make fire because their hands weren’t big enough…what an idiot!
Meanwhile over at the Galu camp, most of the tribe members spent their time doing yoga, while they didn’t have any fire wood, food, water or other necessities. Shambo was getting increasingly disgusted with them.
Russell H. at Foa Foa told Ben that Ashley was the one that was gunning for him. So the attention was not on Russell and Ashley looked like the most likely one to go next. He is ruthless and Ben is just the right kind of person to be manipulated into turning on someone. He’s a hothead.

On Day 7, tree mail arrived with a bag of dry swimsuits for the tribe members. Seeing how most of them have been walking around in their underwear or torn up clothes, this must have been a real treat!
At the Immunity Challenge, they had to do another very physical challenge to win immunity and a reward of pillows, candles and other items to make their camp more comfortable. Ben performed poorly in the challenge and Galu won the reward and the immunity.
It’s interesting that Foa Foa spends all their time backstabbing and can’t win a challenge at all. Pretty soon, they’ll just self-destruct…at least we can hope, anyway.

Jeff Probst told Russell S., the leader of the Galu tribe that he would have a choice of the reward they would get. He had only a few seconds to decide whether to take the comfort or a pile of more practical cooking items. He chose the comfort. He knew the women in his tribe wanted the comfort so he did what he knew they would want. The two tribes are like night and day.
Russell S. sent Shambo over to the Foa Foa camp until the next tribal council. Let’s hope she isn’t as abrasive as Yasmin was…
The folks at Foa Foa loved Shambo and wanted to adopt her. It was completely different than when Yasmin came to the tribe. She liked them better than her own tribe too.
Shambo got the note to try to find the immunity idol, but Russell H., of course, already had it.
Jaison made it known that he wanted Ben out, or he threatened to quit. He felt that Ben was racist and he didn’t want him there. Russell was campaigning to get Ashley out instead.
Russell used the immunity idol to convince Mick he could be trusted. If he’s not careful, he might just get himself in trouble by playing so fast and loose.

At Tribal Council, Jaison called out Ben for being so negative and offending everyone. Jaison called Ben a bully. Ben called Jaison a sissy. It got ugly.
Jeff asked Ben if he wanted to apologize for anything and he said he didn’t need to. The tribe voted then and Ben was voted out. I guess Ben’s bad behavior in Tribal Council changed a few people’s minds toward getting rid of him.
I personally think he deserved to go. Jaison was right. He was totally out of line with his actions and his comments. One down…one to go…
What do you think of this week’s episode? Do you think the tribe did the right thing to get rid of Ben? Do you think Russell S. made the right decision by taking the comforts? Leave a comment to share your thoughts!
