Yay, Tabatha’s Salon Takeover is coming back! It’s been quite a while since I’d heard anything about the show’s second season, so I was so thrilled to get an official date for the return of the baddest bitch around, Tabatha Coffey. If you’ve never watched the show, it’s actually quite entertaining to watch Tabatha whip lazy and bad hairdressers into shape. It’s a lot like Gordon Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares (a favorite of mine) without the yelling and rotting food.
Bravo also released the names of the salons Tabatha visited. Do any of you get your hair done at these places?
- Orbit Salon – Chicago, Ill.
- Allure Salon – Miami, Fla.
- Eclectic Salon – Los Angeles, Calif.
- Bang Salon – Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
- Plush Salon – Chatsworth, Calif.
- Brownes and Co – Miami, Fla.
- Refuge Salon – Los Angeles, Calif.
- Chicago Male – Chicago, Ill.
- Tantrum Salon – Covina, Calif.
- Earth Moon Sun – Western Springs, Ill.
With 19 years of experience in the industry, Tabatha first came onto the scene on the set of another Bravo show, Shear Genius, where she won Fan Favorite. Her salon, Industrie Hair Gurus, is in Ridgewood, New Jersey. I smell cross over potential with Real Housewives of New Jersey!

Thumbs up on this show – because although it’s “reality” and confrontational it also instructs and teaches. I wish Flipping Out would do a slight bit more on being informative about house remodeling, design etc… myself.

I disagree with Becky. I love Flipping Out because although it follows Jeff around on business ventures.. they don’t bore us with too many details.
TLC and HGTV have several shows devoted to that sort of thing. It’s not my kind of thing.

So glad she is coming back – just love her and the good job she does. She’s so smart and has a great heart. Hope last season’s show comes out on DVD.

I went to the Refuge salon. My stylist did an AMAZING job, but she took a long time to finish up. In the end, it was the best cut and color i’ve ever had. I think it’s worth the wait.

hi, dont suppose you know the receptionists name? i know its random but i really want her hair :) thanks x
Yes, I do get my hair done at the Eclectic Salon in Los Angeles. Brian Perry is my stylist and has been since I have resided in the area for the past 3 years. He has over 15 years of experience in the industry and is capable of doing it all. He cuts, he colors, and best of all he maintains my hair health. Soemtimes you cannot get all of that in one stylist. One of the key things I most enjoy is that I have never heard him gossip about his clients and trust me with the salons I have been to in the past it is very hard for stylists not to engage in gossip. So if you are in LA, go experience the Brian Perry experience! ;-)
