Hi everyone! I’ve been following Idol Stalker for some time, and have been lucky enough to get to know Jeanne along the way thanks to both of us working for b5media. Jeanne – as you know – has done an excellent, amazing job at keeping Idol fanatics up to date on each season’s performances as well as the careers of contestants post-Idol. I’m going to miss Jeanne’s updates tremendously but I’m also very excited to announce that I’ve been lucky enough to take the reins here at Idol Stalker, so I’ll be posting here from now on. I’ll do my best to fill the shoes of someone who ran the site so well for so long.
I’ve been a huge American Idol fan for years now. I only caught the last few episodes of the first season but that was enough to turn me into an addict and I haven’t missed a season since then. I get far too emotionally invested in the show and always have a keen interest in the contestants who make it into the top 12.
So far I have to say that my favorite contestants so far have been Clay Aiken, Carrie Underwood, Blake Lewis, David Cook, and Adam Lambert but I’m always curious about what any of the contestants do with their music after their season ends.
I’m also Canadian, so I have a huge interest in Canadian Idol and have loved Kalan Porter, Jacob Hoggard, and Brian Melo tremendously. I’m really hoping that Canada will get its Idol show back very soon since I’ve been missing it.
I look forward to getting to know Idol Stalker’s readers and being able to share news of all things Idol from here on out. Please feel free to comment any time because the only thing I love more than watching American Idol is talking about it! You can also go ahead and contact me via email if you’re on the shy side.
