Taylor is the total best. I look forward to the new cd, the Whomp at the Warfield DVD (I’ve seen the HDnet version at least 10 times!!) I hope he has some fun extras included, and especially look forward to the next tour. Hopefully I’ll meet him again like I did on the last tour. Love Taylor, Love the band. Go Soul Man!!!!

I read this yesterday. Noone can really know what was said, since everyone in show business is interested in spinning things their way.
To me “my label and I have mutually parted ways” means – Taylor is trying to make the best of a not favorable position. If he complains about the label dropping him, it makes him look like a failure. If the labels badmouths Taylor all sales may cease on his still out there album. The label have left the door open for Taylor to have a distribution deal, at least, if he comes back and they like what he recorded, the label can make a distribution deal, if they don’t , no money out of their pockets.
