What is the life of a model really like? Especially those first starting out in the business? Called The Beautiful Life, The CW’s show is really about the “not-so-beautiful-life” – the behind-the-scenes look at a group of young models living in New York at different stages of their career – the good and the bad. The show is executive produced by Ashton Kutcher.
The Beautiful Life premiere will air at 9 p.m. ET/PT tonight on The CW, following America’s Next Top Model.
The ensemble cast includes Mischa Barton, Sara Paxton, Corbin Bleu, Ashley Madekwe, Ben Hollingsworth, Nico Tortorella and former supermodel Elle MacPherson.
In several interviews, Mischa has called The Beautiful Life “the Entourage of high fashion. (Take a look at what the show’s creator and executive producer think about the show)
I’ve watched an early look at the show’s pilot, but that was a rough cut, and from what I understand, the pilot episode tonight will have more Corbin Bleu and more drama than what I saw originally. Still, I liked what I saw – lots of drama and I loved the characters.
