My friend & fellow Spekked blogger Jeanne Dupuis has written her recap of this week’s Biggest Loser episode for us. You can read more of her great show recaps on her Idol Stalker blog.
Roger and Mark of the Blue team talked about how hard it was to come home from Australia without Jay. Kelly reflected on the fact that she is the last Black team member to be in the game and she didn’t know she could make it this long. Ali talked about how she wants to be the first female Biggest Loser winner.
The contestants took the same walk they did on their first day and it was amazing to see how out of shape they were in the “before” footage. Alison told them that an old friend wants to say hello to them and Kelly is nervous. It turns out that the guest was Chef Rocco from earlier in the season. He had prepared their favorite meals and then told them that he was going to help them learn how to make the same dishes with fewer calories and fat.

At the challenge, the contestants meet their worst enemies – their former body weight in the form of a “fat suit.” They had to don the suit which reflects their former weight and measurements and then they had to carry a flag to the top of a mountain. The prize was having their food prepared by a Biggest Loser approved chef after they go home to prepare for the finale and a hefty $10,000. Mark won the final challenge of the season.
Bob and Gillian returned from Australia after being away from the contestants for the past week. Mark was really upset since his brother Jay was no longer in the game and he needed some one on one time with Bob.
The contestants got a chance to watch a video of their journey on the show. It was really emotional to see how far they have all come emotional as well as physically.
- Roger lost 15 lbs – 6.41%
- Mark lost lost 12 lbs – 6.63%
- Ali lost 11 lbs!!! – 7.53%
- Kelly lost 13 lbs – 6.81%
After it is clear that Ali and Kelly have made it to the finals, the girls seem excited to be in control of voting off Roger since he is the biggest threat. Alison made another game-changing announcement, though – America would be voting to decide whether Roger or Mark would be the third person at the finale. Roger and Mark were given the opportunity to plead their case to the at-home audience.
The contestants were given the chance to stand next to a cardboard cutout of what they looked like at the beginning of the show. It was incredible to see the difference.
Next week’s Biggest Loser will let us know who America chose to join the final three and we’ll see the winner announced!
