I was just listening to the radio and heard that The Cheetah Girls have been dumped from appearing at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. Why? Because of the whole Adrienne Bailon photo scandal. Yes, another Disney photo scandal. Ugh.
I won’t go into too many details, but some not so nice photos of Bailon were ‘leaked’ on the Internet. The people in charge of the parade felt like having The Cheetah Girls show up at a family oriented event was not such a good idea. So they are officially out.
As far as the ‘leaked’ photos go, it sounds like it was a PR stunt that went wrong. Bailon at first claimed that her laptop was stolen at the JFK airport and whoever got their hands on it, leaked the photos. Well, according to this article, that’s not the case. It was merely a way for her to break away from her good girl Disney ways and step out on her own. She’s older than most successful Disney stars and apparently, there is no Cheetah Girls 4 in the works. Also, all 3 girls are working on solo albums.
Interesting story isn’t it? I will keep an ear out for any more developments.
