Today, April 7th, “The Day the Earth Stood Still” is being released on Blu-ray and DVD. This intense and electrifying drama stars Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly, as well as Will Smith’s son Jaden Smith.
I wasn’t so sure about this movie, but I put in the DVD anyway to see what it was all about. Guess what? I enjoyed it! I thought it was a very interesting movie and it kept me guessing about what the heck was going on! And I wasn’t the only one in my household who enjoyed it – my son has seen it twice and is asking to watch it again. The special effects are what grabbed him.
I think Jaden Smith (The Pursuit of Happyness) stole the show. This kid can act! I fell in love with his work when he co-stared with his dad Will Smith in The Pursuit of Happyness. His emotions are so real and I definitely hope to see this kid in more movies.

Synopsis:
