That's more like, it Alli. Somehow she's convinced herself that if she doesn't do well on her math test, Mr. Simpson will get fired. I'm gonna throw it out here now--could Alli's next dramatic plotline be that she develops obsessive-compulsive disorder?
Some people want to let their alcohol-addicted daughters have maybe a month of downtime before testifying against their abusive exes. But Fiona's mom--or maybe it was the judge--decided that she'd be riding the high (bad choice of words...) of completing AA to face Bobby in the court room.
Booooring.
Anya can't decide whether she likes Owen to put his arms around her while she practices CPR. She later tells him, "I don't like you in that way, and I probably never will." Probably, huh?
Mrs. Coyne just wants to take the settlement ($100,000) and forget about the deposition, since she doesn't trust Fiona to testify without a 40 of Jager by her side.

Summer plans to be a lifeguard? Owen doesn't deserve these since he was such a jerk to Zane and Riley.
Tinsley--who Fiona saw Bobby cheating with last season, which led to him throwing Fiona down a flight of stairs--hesitates during her deposition, so Fiona sends her psychic brainwaves asking her to tell the truth. In an excellent scene, Tinsley hesitantly admits that Bobby had slapped her at a party when she was talking to another guy--"But it was just once!"
Anyone else would realize that a) kissing Holly J after winning the settlement and saying b) "It was all because of you" and c) "I love you, Holly J" all comes out of Fiona's gratitude that Holly J took care of her. Instead, as we can tell from next week's previews, Fiona has decided that she's actually in love with Holly J. Hoo boy.

1) why is this whole thing going down in civil court? basically, bobby will just pay compensatory damages to fiona, and the whole thing will probably be hidden behind a confidentiality agreement. i don’t really see that as bobby “paying for what he did.” a criminal case might be weak, but they should have at least tried.
2) where the f is eli? all we get is a snippet in a preview for next week of him going batshit crazy, but he’s nowhere to be seen in this episode.
There’s only three episodes left apparently, so I assume next week is gonna wrap up the Fiona/Holly J mess, then the final two will be Eli/Clare drama. I just hope they’re exciting enough to merit a spot in the season finale!
