Happy Mother’s Day, indeed. The always expanding Duggar Family is now expecting their 18th child. Right now, she’s about six weeks along and everything seems to be going well; the last baby they had is only 9 months old. So, obviously, in their highly regimented home of automatons, there is a block of time scheduled for “getting bizzay.”
I have mixed feelings about all these kids. Personally, if I could afford that many kids and WANTED that many kids, I would adopt. There are too many needy children out there that need a home that’s obviously loving and caring out to grab every television appearance like this one. I think it’s irresponsible and selfish to pop out that many kids rather than take in the ones that really need help. Plus, HELLOOOO??!?!? Her uterus must look like a freaking mud puddle at this point – JimBob is pretty much just throwing a hotdog down a hallway. Gross.
But that’s just my opinion – what do you think?
The Duggars just had their 19th baby girl Josie Brooklyn on Dec 10, 2009. Just weighed 1 lb; and 6 ozs. I hope and pray she makes it. I weighed 1 lb and 10 ozs when I was born. That was a few years ago.

Jim Bob and Michelle, you’re wonderful parents to your children. Having God in your lives, teaching the Biblical ways of life. The love, compassion, caring, values, and the utmost respect. Keep the Love of Christ in your hearts and your children.

Mary, I agree. This is why the kids don’t go to school, or even college–the parents know that if they were out in the “real” world, they would rebel. But they are so sheltered, they don’t know any better. I just feel sorry for the older kids. I briefly had to take care of my 3 cousins when I was a kid and it was no picnic. And they have to do it all the time! Just not fair. And Jim Bob knows how to exploit the kids for money. Having cameras at their grandfather’s funeral–COME ON!
Mary, they oldest children aren’t slaves as you say. This is a very loving family. The oldest children do have independence. If Jim Bob was so strict, he wouldn’t allow them to drive, or go out period. He’s the one that taught them to drive, etc.
Okay, for all of you saying they are such a “loving” family? It’s reality TV and for decades reality TV has been FAKE! You don’t know them personally, so how can you know if the children don’t resent their parents when they grow up? How do you know they won’t give in to drugs/alcohol abuse to try and get their parents attention. Don’t be fooled by a Christian family, they’re all far from perfect.
Maybe the older siblings will finally voice their disgust to mom for popping out another baby and run away from home. Then Jim Bob and Michelle will find out what’s it’s really like to take care of all their children once their “slaves” have run away. They may be a nice family but this is a Dad that very much rules the roost and makes all the decisions. He will continue to exercise his control even when those kids are all grown ups. Those kids will always remain under his control because he’s not going to allow them to be independent, and they will be “guilted” into following his commands. Mother is so passive and meek she will sit by and allow it to continue. Once those kids start having opinions of their own and start trying to gain some independence all hell is going to break loose!

The Duggar family went out bowling for Justin’s (turned 8 years old) birthday. They all had a wonderful time. What a God Loving, true close knit family. God Bless them all. That’s what family is all about!!!! I would love to be part of their family.
Michelle and Jim Bob are married and they can have as many children as they wish. They’re not living on Welfare. God Bless them all!!!!

Jim Bob and Michelle are raising their children, they’re teaching them about the Lord and the utmost respect, morals, values, compassion for one another. FYI, the Duggars aren’t living in a trailer park!!!!!!!!!!
Yeah the Duggars love their children who may be a year older raise their younger sibling. They teach there children sexist valuse… expample the girls cook, clean and do the laundry. I respect anyone religious beliefs! The Duggars are no different from the women in the trailer park living off the government.
