This is one of MTV’s latest additions to their lineup. The Girls of Hedsor Hall is an American re-make of the British reality series that aired a year or so ago called Laddettes to Ladies. (I guess the word Laddettes didn’t translate well.) This new version uses the same finishing school in the UK and the same school staff. The one new addition is former Miss America Tara Conner who got into some trouble for her own bad girl ways. If you remember the headlines, Donald Trump came out in support of her and ended up putting her in this new reality series since he’s the executive producer of the show.

The premise is that they found a group of girls with absolutely no manners, morals or even an idea of lady-like behavior and sent them to England to a proper finishing school to be turned into ladies. Each week, one of them is expelled and the final girl, the winner, will get a trust fund of $100,000. (I hope it’s in no way invested in the stock market…LOL!) I think for the next season of this show, they only need to look at the cast members of some of the other reality series for the girls…Charm School style. ;-)
Anyway, I enjoyed the British version very much and this version is pretty true to it except that the girls are from the US and not the UK. It’s hilarious to see these girls do some of the most outrageous things and not even realize that it’s not acceptable behavior! This is a much more intersting version of Charm School. I think you will like it if you check it out! I highly recommend the show and will be following it here on Reality Exploits this season.
