The Good Wife’s Cary Gets A Blog

If you’ve been watching The Good Wife and you can’t get enough of Matt Czuchry‘s (Logan on Gilmore Girls) character, CBS has created a blog written from the point of view of his character called Cary’s Corner. In it, he shares what it’s like to be a junior associate at Stern, Lockhart and Gardner. Here are some of his thoughts on the lead character of The Good Wife, Alicia, who has joined the law firm after being publicly humiliated when her husband was caught in a political scandal.

Just as the meeting was about to end, the other junior associate came rushing in… Alicia Florrick. I had heard rumors she would be joining the firm, but thought it was just that, rumors. Her husband, Peter Florrick, his scandal and resignation press conference was on every channel and website six months ago. Alicia Florrick stood by his side. It had to be such a humiliating moment for Alicia, but she being there, standing next to him, was incredibly… brave.

After the meeting, I introduced myself to Alicia and told her how much I respect what she’s doing. My mom’s thinking of going back to work, too. Especially since Dad refuses to retire. Alicia was an attorney before marrying Peter and, all those years at his arm, she had to have picked up something. I look forward to learning from her the six months she’s here.

Don’t forget that the show comes back with a new episode tomorrow night at 10 p.m. Here’s a video preview of “Conjugal”:
