A month later and we’re still talking about this business with Gretchen, Jay and Jeff. A commenter let me know about a post over at Reality Tea that was made by one of Jeff’s ex-wives, Sharon. This is what Sharon had to say:
“My kids do NOT and NEVER have adored Gretchen….they know exactly what she’s about and what she’s up to and has been up to all along and their Dad knew it too. My daughter, Jill making any statement re. Gretchen
explained that she simply doesn’t want anymore negative comments written about her Dad which is embarrassing and hurtful to her and her brother and sister. Jill appearing to defend Gretchen (slightly) is done only to quiet any negative statements made about her Dad period. Our three kids, Jennifer, Jill and Jake (Lizzy is not Jeff’s daughter, nor mine…she’s a long-time friend of our daughter Jill) are not fans of Rossi at all and how they describe her in real terms, isn’t nice and hasn’t been nice historically. The fact is, Jeff was never going to marry her and she knows it but likes to play it like they were so much in love (gee…wonder why???). I’ve known Jeff for 25 years and I did visit him in August while he was in the hospital at which time we talked a lot. What I know is totally different than what Gretchen portrays which means, I know the truth and she knows that I know the truth. Sometimes I feel pity for her which is about the most I can feel given all of her lies over the course of time. I really feel sorry for her family, especially her Mom.
My kids are so far above Gretchen in integrity, self-respect and character that it’s really embarrassing that they were ever exposed to her to begin with. Jeff said he was lonely and knew that he appeared desperate to a lot of people, probably both and not unlike a lot of people that are in their mid-life. Gretchen badgered him into being part of this show to begin with and Tamra exposing Gretchen for the fraud she is was gutsy even knowing that she’d experience some backlash from it. Gretchen screwing around on Chris with Jeff and on Jeff with Jay and Jay with Slade naturally would have it’s downside and if Gretchen believed that all of this would remain secret means that she is about as intelligent as a box of rocks. So….Jay exposed her…she’s earned all the disrespect she’s been given and gives to others and if she believes she deserves an iota of respect at all, well….I’m back to the box of rocks intellect again.”
Jay also is still going on and on about this, except the only people who will give him the time of day is Radar Online. Not surprising, since they are also the publisher’s of OctoMom’s video blog. Maybe Jay should look into hooking up with her. He supposedly took a polygraph which says he never intended to hurt Gretchen. And he passed with flying colors. Which is fine but lie detector tests aren’t the most reliable and you can’t use those in court as evidence.

I have been wondering the same thing. How come other entertainment sites are not picking up his story. Radaronline has him and octoloon.lol. You know it might have all been a ploy to get people talking. Bravo likes when their is major talking. It means ratings bonanza if and when she gets her own show. I say strike while the iron is hot.lmao. Sharon and I am sorry is an ex wife. She would have no kind feelings toward any girlfriend of Jeff of Assissi.lmao. People want to paint and fault Gretchen for everything. I think she has maintained her composure because this is all part of the big plan. we will see her soon. Publicity is easily spun. Hire a good PR firm and you are on your way to millions. did you hear how people are taking it too far. Someone threatened to harm Vicki. It is on T m Z.

I think Sharon needs to let it go too. Gretchen was not cheating on his children if she was cheating and he did not know. She keeps saying he knew and I believe that wholeheartedly. I think he did not care at that point and why should I? If he had no qualms about having her in his life doing what she supposedly did, then who am I to moan and groan. Who is anyone else for that matter. I am a mother. These kids are not little either so get a grip. Stop selling the story to the enquirer too. Makes for a more sympathetic figure.

I hope Jeff’s family knows that no one is trying to put any of them down in any way. I can only imagine how they must all feel about this Gretchen thing. She just needs to go far, far away and fast. The sooner she goes the sooner they can get over her. Best wishes to all of them.

Why, after all these months would an ex-wife suddenly appear NOW…Publicity perhaps? I guess. Sharon’s own daughter wants this stuff to stop, but her own mom decides to put in her two cents? It’s her right of course…and her word against Gretchens. What has bothered me all along with this seasons Housewives is the “verbal put-downs and the meanness,” something that could have been going all along behind the scenes but not in front of the cameras. Sure, we expected it from the Atlanta housewives and NY, but what really wrecked this past season for me was how nasty the OC was. It wasn’t what i enjoyed from the show. And the idiot that is keeping this going, and actually started the whole thing was Jay Photostalker, desperately grasping for his 2 seconds of fame, by ripping someone he claims to love apart. The guy is a true psycho needs to be ignored. This meanness hasn’t done Vicki any good.

I think it’s obvious this Sharon woman wants to make a buck off of Jeff’s death, that’s pretty low.
The fact that she tried to sell her story to the national enquirer speaks volumes about her credibility.
She seems like Jay, desperate to make a buck. Plus she is one of 5 ex-wives so who cares what she thinks of Gretchen?
This show ended a while ago and Jeff has been dead for some time so it seems like certain fanatical people just need to move on with their lives.

Agreed, anyone who goes to the National Enquirer (ie. Sharon AND Jay) immediately loses credibility. People will continue to talk about Gretchen either way, as she is interesting. Her, Jeana, and Lynne were the “real” people on that show. The others can take a hike.

Gretchen’s 15 minutes of fame are over…and if the Bravo people are smart, they’ll realize it and drop her soon enough, or they’ll lose their HW’s viewers…

Gretchen is the most popular housewife on that show, everyone loves her (no one cares that a scummy ex-boyfriend is posting inimate pics of her, big deal).
She was just renewed for another season for OC. Without her they have no show.
They need to lose Tamra because viewers are disgusted with watching her be abusive and negligent with her kids…..who takes their small children on a booze cruise and proceeds to do beer bongs in front on their children and get drunk?
She is the skankiest woman who should never have even had kids.

I am glad to hear she is back. The show would not be the same without her now. I want major drama.I also hop Lynne learns to pass instead of just puff.lol. lol. Bravo is not willing to let their golden goose go just yet.Gretchen 1 everyone else 0. lol. I cant wait to see the new season.
