The Hangover Wins Golden Globe!

Justin Bartha’s surprise summer hit, The Hangover became a surprise Golden Globe winner last night! The tale of four buddies on an epic bachelor party in Las Vegas won the Globe for Best Motion Picture — Comedy or Musical at the 67th annual Golden Globe awards last night. It beat out Julie & Julia, It’s Complicated, (500) Days of Summer and Nine.

I loved The Hangover, but I was very surprised to see it win. Two Meryl Streep movies were nominated! A flashy musical was nominated! A critically acclaimed indie darling was nominated!
