I watched the first episode of Christian Slater’s new NBC show ‘My Own Worst Enemy‘ but I was unable to catch the second one. Oh man did I miss a great episode that has people talking.
For those of you unfamiliar with the show, Slater plays a man with split personalities. Some days he is Edward Albright and other days he is Henry Spivey. Everything seemed to be going fine, until Henry finds out about Edward and things get complicated, like who’s sleeping with Henry’s wife?
In the last episode, the phrase "the hummingbird position" was used and it created quite a bit of buzz on the internet. Check out the clip of Henry’s wife thanking him for last night and then mentioning of "the hummingbird position". I love it when Henry looks at his hand and it says "You’re welcome".
I won’t go into details about what the hummingbird position is, just google it if you’re interested. I did.
After this episode, the phrase “the hummingbird position” became Google’s most searched term on Monday and the third most on Tuesday. I imagine that gave the show some exciting buzz and whoever wrote that into the script was brilliant. So, will I watch this Monday? You better believe I will. The story has me intrigued. I mean you have to admit that a man’s split perosnality sleeping with his wife and teaching her things that he never could, is an interesting story line. Henry needs to learn a thing or two from Edward.
You can catch “My Own Worst Enemy” on NBC on Mondays.
