The Japanese origins of that new “Hole in the Wall” game show

If you haven’t had the chance, nay, the PRIVILEGE, to see a Japanese game show, you have missed out on some seriously funny (yet completely demented) stuff. Take, for instance, this video of a game show in which participants have to demonstrate how they can squish themselves into Tetris-like blocks.

I just have one question, and this really needs to be answered. Why, please tell me WHY, is the water yellow? Is it Mountain Dew? Please say it’s Mountain Dew. Or something that’s not urine-ish. Thank you.
