Here are the pictures of Katie Holmes that everyone is talking about. She has what looks like a fever blister and some crazy hair going on. She does look very tired.
Her time on Broadway is coming to a close in a few weeks and I imagine she is ready. Doing Broadway can be exhilarating for your career and personally, but I seriously can not imagine keeping up with the schedule they have to. I’m having a hard time with my 3 kids being out of school for the holidays and trying to get work done around them. I can’t imagine having to perform several times a day!
I do hope that nothing is wrong with Katie and that she was just having a rough day. I know I have those days and if someone took my picture, I would die! Katie is smiling in one of the pictures, so that’s good.
On a positive note, I love Katie’s red coat with the white scarf. Very festive! Get some rest Katie!

I really don’t think Katie has to do any thing around her house, like the cleaning ,washing, taking clothes to the cleaners, or shopping for food.
She has alot of help with Suri, and has NO pressing Duties!!!!
There are many other Moms out there, that all of the above responsibilities are her’s
I’m sure she is fine. It’s one picture out of a thousand. I’m sure she is tired and yes she has had fever blisters before. Once you have them they are reacurring especially when you are stressed. Who wouldn’t be stressed with a work schedule like that even if someone else is doing your laundry for you!
looks to me she is trying to grow her hair out, and for a while it might not look so great. if you moved the hair from her face, i’m sure she looks pretty as always
a complete mess…..herpes on the lip, sores on her foot, suede ballet flats in slushy winter snow/ice and a fuschia colored shirt with a red coat. red mixed with fuschia? It is outrageous that some think she has fashion sense. In 90 degree heat this summer she wore leather gloves and knee high leather boots, now its 10 degrees and she sports bare feet with a suede ballet flat…she is unreal.
If daily life does this to people, then everyone I know should look like that – luckily not the case.

I think Tom has dumped her. There are rumors that he is seeing a blonde woman and they have been spotted at the Carlyle hotel in NYC.
Poor Katie, she should have known she could never have him. He only wanted Suri.
Ok this young woman who looks like 40 instead of 30 years of age, has nannies, housekeepers, bodyguards who also hold her umbrella, purse or whatever else they need to for her, etc is just tired?? I am with Jenna on this one. I think and HOPE that as soon as this play is over, the separation will be announced and maybe she can get out and away with Suri. As bad as she looks here, however, I am thinking maybe she is being forced into some serious auditing..or just knows things are about to change her marriage/life in a huge way..
She looks miserable and totally unhappy. I think it would be good for her to do what is right for her and Suri and not have to live under someone else’s control. And before anyone jumps on me. Tom’s control issues are a Hollywood Legend..
I’ll bet she’ll be glad when the Broadway run is over…then she can get some sleep.
I don’t know if Tom is having an affair with a blonde at the Carlyle but there is a part of me that thinks that maybe he is having one. He really hasn’t been in NY very much, and when he is he seems to get around unnoticed, where she’s very exposed There is a reason why Katie looks the way she does, we don’t really know what it is, but things are not right, her appearance gives out a lot of signals, but we don’t know exactly what. I like Tom but I don’t know how far I trust him, but because you don’t know him you form an opinion on what you read. One thing that always niggled at me was his friendship with P CRUZ, I mean you read that he she’s the reason he left NK whether the timing was coincidence or not, whether its true or not, thats how it looks from the outside , then you bring her into your home to show her your new baby girl. Then on another occasion, at the time of his wedding to Katie, friends were coming out and talking about them and their love for each other , and I think it was Cameron Crowe (it was in PEOPLE Mag) said that Tom felt he’d never really been in love before, but thats the same comment TC said for Mimi Rogers back 20yrs ago, similar things that he said for Katie , along the same lines he said for NK, so you really can’t help thinking, what he’s really like, the old Katie would have been down his alley, petty, long dark hair , nice figure, but I don’t think that this new Katie is quite what Tom likes some how. Cmom might be right about a seperation, no anniversary celebration or her 30th, just a lot of words and not many appearances in NY, like I said all this might be totally wrong speculation and I’m really sorry if it is ,but this time I’m not so sure.
Katie’s schedule is no more strenuous than many other working mothers, who work just as long (if not longer) hours and don’t have a driver, a nanny, a maid, a cook, etc. There is no way Katie could be looking this poorly because she’s “tired”. Working mothers are tired the majority of the time and don’t appear like this.
Katie looks dreadful. I agree that she looks unhappy and has looked that way, to me, for some time.
As a full time working Mom of 3 children I have to agree with ConMom and lala. I’m sure working on Broadway is tiring, but not to the extent that Katie ought to look so tired, gaunt and pale for such an extended period of time. She has nannies, drivers, maids, assistants, etc., which is a benefit most working Mothers don’t have, yet we manage to look somewhat alive. I’m concerned and I have been for quite awhile.
As for the whole blonde and The Carlyle thing, I hadn’t heard that!! I’m not one to read gossip columns! What’s the story with that?
My Goodness….I really hope the rumors (whatever they are) are not true. What a slap in the face that would be for Katie!!
I think the most strenuous or stressful thing about Katie’s life is probably all the gossip or speculation about her, her family, her career, her clothes, her body, etc…. Call me sensitive, but I for one wouldn’t be able to handle all of that negativity if it was towards or about me .
I agree Rena, it must be hard to have to deal with everything that is said about you , I ve liked a lot of what Katie has worn in NY not everything, but a lot, but the thing is , that there is an audience out there for her, people who are interested in what she wears, how she wears it, her life , her daughter, her hair, I wrote once before that there are actors and actresses who know how to play the game of being in the public eye and play it well, as much as I like her, Katie does ‘nt know how to play it. Sometimes she leaves herself wide open to speculation or criticisim, unfortunately Katie is in a proffesion where you are judged by your outward appearance, maybe that sounds a bit shallow but thats the way it is, people want the pretty hair they want the pretty smile they want the pretty clothes, and lately Katie has been carrying the natural look just a bit too far paticularly being in the public eye, when you look back and see the hair she had and what her hair looks like now, you want to shake her and ask what is the matter with her . sometimes her hair looks like my mothers, thats why people comment in a negative way or when she looks gaunt , depressed and half dead, people remember the old Katie, and you get disappointed, Iactually get very disappointed, because you know that she’s better than this, when she looks like that ,of course people are going to speculate, she’s a big girl now, there are things that she should know.
Annie, Katie specifically said in that recent interview that she never reads what is said about her. I didn’t believe it when I read it. I’m glad I’m not alone.
