So the Lauren and Heidi feud is still in the headlines. Heidi and Spencer chatted with Us Weekly and gave their side of the story (of course, my interview with them came out a lot sooner…).
The bombshell revelation that The Hills star Lauren “LC” Conrad and ex-beau Jason Wahler might have a secret sex tape hit the internet on April 5, and there’s still enough drama to fill a whole season of the MTV reality smash. In the new issue of Us Weekly, the show’s resident “evil” couple, Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, discuss Lauren and why they feel misunderstood.
Us: Lauren told Us you didn’t contact her after news broke about the tape. Your take?
Montag: “It’s astonishing that she would say that. I guess she forgot that I was in the hospital that week [Montag got breast implants and rhinoplasty on April 2.] Maybe that would explain why she didn’t call to see how I was doing.”
Us: So is there a sex tape?
Montag: “No comment.”
Us: Did you two leak the story?
Montag: “It’s amusing to me that because I didn’t call Lauren, I am behind the leak. It’s outrageous and inappropriate. I have nothing to do with the tape.”
Us: Spencer, did Lauren’s split from your pal Brody Jenner makes things tricky?
Pratt: “Lauren couldn’t get into clubs before she met us! We were her ticket to Hollywood. As soon as the double dating stopped, she was out. She has trouble being the third wheel. That’s what she was when Brody didn’t want to keep seeing her.”
Us: What is your relationship really like?
Montag: “Perfect. We have so much fun. I never knew I could love someone like this.”
Pratt: “I have never been so madly in love as I am with Heidi. She has the world’s greatest boyfriend!”
What does the duo have to say about Lauren’s insinuations that they leaked the story about the sex tape? How does Heidi react to accusations that Spencer is a player? When Heidi and Spencer talked with me, they were extremely conscientious about not bashing Lauren publicly. But I guess once she threw them under the bus, the gloves came off. I know everyone will defend Lauren til the end and I know I have until, well, now, but I actually side with Spencer and Heidi. I think the media and MTV has made them out to be caricatures and everyone seems to be buying it.
Let me ask you this, if your friend had been talking trash about you to the media, would you rush to her side once things got a little rough for her?
So I’ve crossed over to the dark side, I guess. I can’t help it. I like Spencer and Heidi. Leave your nasty comments about the whole thing now…
Actually, you’re wrong about Lauren starting this. My friend at Us Weekly told me that Lauren wasn’t giving any comments to the press. Heidi and Spencer actually called the magazine to give an interview and that was the only reason Lauren did the interview for Us Weekly. If you notice, Lauren didn’t talk to any other press about this. Heidi and Spencer were going to several press agencies trying to do interviews. You were the only one who cared about what they had to say. They are liars. But you obviously want to believe them, so go ahead and take their side. Lauren liked them at first too. Look where it got her.

Don’t forget that Spencer sold out a friend in high school to the tabs to make money. I can’t remember who it was, but this was included in the infamous Details article. Heidi and Spencer are both pathetic!!

If you’re dumb enough to take them at face value, maybe there is someone in the world as dense as Heidi. I personally didn’t think that was humanly possible. Jerks!! L.C., Whitney, and Drina Rock!!
P.S. What sucks the most is that all of L.C.’s supporters are so angry about what they say, we comment, and we’re contributing to their “fame flame” by talking about them. Ewww !! Makes me hate those coattail riders even more!
Shea is siding with Spencer & Heidi? I suppose it’s not because they gave her an interview or anything, right? That can’t possibly be it, since the person who would sell their support like that would have absolutely no integrity or credibility whatsoever. Surely it’s because all those instances of Spencer & Heidi being complete self-absorbed jerks were all fake, right? Seriously, it was all staged to frame them because MTV was that concerned with those two bobble-headed nobodies. Good lord.

Brody and Spencer are the reason Lauren got into clubs??? They were here ticket to Hollywood??? Is he for real? No one even knew Spencers name until he was on Lauren Condrads show. She is the star! She invited Heidi to be on the Hills! Lauren was and is the only reason we even know the names of Spencer and Heidi. LC is THEIR ticket to Hollywood. Heidi should be ashamed of herself at how she has treated Lauren. I used to like Heidi. But when I saw how she instigated and supported the Jen Bunney/Brody Jenner hookup and then lied about it to Lauren her true colors showed. Her and Spencer deserve eachother. They probably are happy together. Their both liars and users. Lauren is so classy: Heidi and and Spencer are not even in her league. Anyone taking the time to read the various blogs out there will see that it’s maybe 5% pro Spencer and Heidi and 95% pro Lauren. Heidi you need to make things right with Lauren and quit trashing her. She did nothing but be a good friend to you and look how you’ve payed her back.
I watch The Hills and don’t like watching these two. They’re unlikeable.
If MTV likes them they should give them their own show. No one would watch but at least they wouldn’t be ruining The Hills.
I think Lauren should stop giving statements about them.
They are the kind that will ruin things for themselves by themselves and then blame everyone else but at least she’ll have left them in the dust where they belong.
I read the interview and watched the show. I have to say I am not a fan of Spencer and Heidi. Do I think the show edits some main parts to make it more interesting for us viewers? Yes, but I have to agree with the comment made by Ally. Heidi and Spencer pushed Jen and Brody together and she then lied to Lauren about it. And when Jen went to Heidi’s job to see how things were going, Heidi told Lauren that she told Jen all these things when she didn’t. I think Lauren needs to just walk away from Heidi. Don’t give any comments and don’t invite on the show next season.
I truly love everything Spencer has to say, scripted or not, what a jackass. He is the reason to go out late and drink- be hungover-can’t feel bad watching this guy try to slink his way through life. I love how he says- Lauren couldn’t get into the club-everyone can. I live in hollywood. He’s a joke to feel elite. I have to give him some cred, without him-the girls would have nothing to laugh about. Hope Heidi’s new album can pay the bills so Spencer’s father can focus on teeth and not his son’s scams
Heidi is a wanna-bee dog faced liar and she is not famous,pretty or a good skiier. Her parents WERE the owners of a restaurant in Crested Butte, CO. but they lost it financially and now they simple run it for the new owners. Just one more lie by the little nobody.

I totally think that Lauren this season started off bad but she is a great person and friend. She knows her flaws and she fixes them. Heidi on the other hand wants everyone to kiss her ass. She totally regrets Spencer. What kind of relationship do they have right now. what is it? They are both dumbasses.
