The Medium by Noelle Sickels

I am reading a wonderful book right now and thought Medium fans and people who enjoy mediums in general would like to hear about it. The Medium by Noelle Sickels is the tale of a girl growing up at the end of the Depression and the start of World War II. By the time America enters the fray, she is a young woman and is trying to come to terms with her gift, which she does not want to have. Imagine seeing Pearl Harbor in a vision and not knowing what you saw until the next day, when it is too late and the story of the attack is on the news.

I sat down to read a few pages and two hours later am a third of the way through the book. I would still be reading, but the cat demanded dinner. Definitely worth picking up if you see it at your book store or library.
