Medium is in reruns until the end of the year, but while they started out airing the first two episodes of the season, now they’re skipping around. CBS has announced both the December 25 and the January 1 episodes, and one is from season 5.
December 25: “All in the Family“(5×09). This one guest-starred James Van Der Beek and Morena Baccarin, who plays creepy Anna on V. Joe’s dad also shows up!
January 1: “Baby Fever” (6×05) Ah, this is a good one. Even though it deals with the very unfunny subject of kidnapping, Joe had a lot of great lines as Allison seemed to be sliding off the deep end and becoming obsessed with someone else’s baby.

I love Joe’s dad turning up, however I can’t remember much of the episode since I haven’t watched that disc on the dvd yet. Joe’s sister made for a very grouchy, stroppy Ariel.
We tend to have a lot of new episodes/premieres on Christmas Day. A lot of people watch television, not me personally, but the viewing figures are usaually pretty good.
Kona, I noticed that there are a couple more airings scheduled in the next couple of weeks also. There’s one on the day after Christmas and one on New Year’s Eve too.
One of my favorites, “Painkiller” is airing on the 26th, and “The Medium is the Message” is airing on the 31st. And don’t forget “Who’s That Girl?”, which is airing this week. It will follow a couple of holiday specials, and those always do well, so maybe it’ll help boost the ratings this week.
Baby fever was my favorite of all and the The medium Is The Message. I didn’t like Painkiller.
“All in the Family” is pretty lame, but the two guest stars are entertaining, and it was Morena Baccarin’s short-hair TV debut (long-haired of course on Firefly and Stargate).
“Baby Fever” is a good one, although Allison gets away with WAY to much nutjobiness.
The Medium is one of the few TV shows that I watch and I look forward to seeing the new episodes. I am not happy to see that we are already watching reruns. Why is that? Not interested in ratings…?? What?
