When Brad Pitt and his family decide to do something right, they don’t go halfway. The Pitt family (including Brad and Angelina), Doug and Lisa Pitt, and Rob and Julie (Brad’s sister) Neal all pooled together to donate $1 million to St. John’s Hospital.

St. John’s is part of six affiliates of the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital and it has been re-named The Jane Pitt Pediatric Cancer Center in honor of Jane’s passion for children and the issues they sometimes face.
I love reading this type of story. Honestly, the movie news is always great for us as fans because it means more ways for us to see them as actors, but it’s reading about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s passion for helping others – and obviously Brad’s entire family feels the same way! – that makes me smile the most.
Jane Pitt must be so honored to have such an important place named after her. She should be proud – she’s obviously raised some very fine people.

E and Sharis, thanks for the links. :)
i think Doug is also good looking – it runs in the genes. haha
All of the Pitt’s are a family to be very proud of. Guess the hat*rs have a fit when they see these types of stories. And Jane Pitt and Angie get along just fine. It would be a little bit difficult to come and help out with your grandchildren if you were not getting along with their Mom.
E thank you for the link. When Doug said Brad & family that really meant Brad,Angie & kids. That’s really awesome to hear it straight form Brad’s brother. They have good hearts. Bless them all.
amazing family!
What a fine tribute to a loving grandmother. The Pitt family is amazing. And Angie and Jane truly love and respect each other it is clear so boo yaa to the rags.
It seems like the whole family helps where a need presents itself. That’s wonderful. To me that shows very caring people with good hearts.
EDIT (this option would be handy…):

Thanks for this wonderful story, Sherry! It´s great to know that Brad, Doug, Julie and their spouses do such a beautiful thing by naming a hospital wing after their mum. Jane sure is very proud of her children. She obviously gets along with Angelina very well and those two women are great friends no matter what the rags write. Haven´t seen the video yet but it´s sure hilarious. I´ve read somewhere that Jane and Bill have 14 grandchildren so that would mean Brad and Angie have six, Doug and Lisa four and Julie and Rob also 4 children. They sure love all those children a lot – no matter are they biological or adopted. God bless all the Pitt family!

Jo you were reading my mind because I was just about to write the same thing,I laughed when Doug said that.
It was both cute and heartwarming when Doug referred to his Mom as a “Professional Grandmother” at the rate Brad and their sister Julie are having kids. It’s great to see the whole family involved in such an altruistic endeavor.

It’s quite cute. Does anyone know how many kids Doug and Julie have? Doug said something about Jane having 14 grandchildren.
Bill and Jane must be really proud of their kids and their kids’ family. They all have donated money for a good cause and naming it after their parents is just really honorable. They first named the basketball court to their father and now the center for their mother. No wonder they’re blessed, they all have a good heart. :)
Can you imagine your son or daughter naming a wing for sick children after you! Holy zounds! She must be in 7th heaven that her children and their spouses would do this for her.
Oh that is a wonderful thing they have all done.
And I love the photograph, Jane and Angelina clearly get on well!
A commendable act by the family.
