After numerous reports that they would be breaking up, sexy girl group, the Pussycat Dolls have officially decided to “take a break” from making music together. It looks like we might have to wait a while before we hear new catchy tunes on the radio or provocative music vids. ![]()
One of the Dolls, Melody Thornton, broke the news to MTV News, saying, "Right now the Pussycat Dolls are on a break. It’s actually a much-needed break. It’s like when you’re with your sisters for 24 hours a day and you need to take your own shower."
However, if you’re a big fan, don’t worry because the girls will supposedly reunite. “Yeah, we’re taking a break. No, [we're not broken up] … everybody keeps saying that, but it’s like, let me see who took a break? Dave Chappelle. Remember when Dave Chappelle took that break? OK, maybe Dave Chappelle’s a bad example. What about, like, Hootie and the Blowfish?"
Melody went on to say, "Well, I always tell people that I’ve been working since the beginning of Pussycat Dolls and making records and always staying true to my passion, which is music, ’cause I love it. Absolutely I’m making music. I love it and I’m gonna live it."
So, what do you guys think? Are you sad about this hiatus or was it about time?
