The Rolling Stones are fueling reports that they are going to quit EMI after signing a one-album deal with Universal. The band is set to release a live CD which was recorded in New York in 2006. This CD will coincide with the launch of Martin Scorcese’s Rolling Stones rockumentary, Shine A Light In, in March.
The rumors started when Mick Jagger questioned the band’s contract after hearing about EMI taking the axe to 2,000 staff members.
