The Situation Signs On For More ‘Jersey Shore’

Mike Sorrentino

It was just yesterday that we were worried our favorite guidos and guidettes would not be returning for a third season of the addictive MTV reality show Jersey Shore due to contract disputes. But money issues can’t hold back The Situation.

Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino
has crossed party lines and signed a new contract with MTV, in the hopes that his fellow cast members will follow suit, People reports.

“Mike decided in order to get season 3 done he was going to have to lead the pack,” his manager, Michael Petolino, said in a press release.

Maybe The Situation understands that those 5-figure appearance fees won’t last long after the show goes off the air. Now let’s see if Snooki, Pauly D and the rest of the cast follow suit. Either way, we’ll be watching the second season when it debuts July 29.
